The old "good news/bad news" routine, eh Drew? Sorry to hear about the hospital stay.
But did you meet any nice nurses in there?

Hope the showing goes well. You've put so much effort and love into that place, that engineer would be crazy not to snap it up. The only thing better would be two engineers trying to outbid each other. Good German ones, nice and stubborn with big egos. That'll do nicely...

Keep us in the loop when you can, but just know we're all here pullin' for ya!

Back from town. My eye appointment good, wife’s good but no change to lens but confirmed her appointment Friday with the other ophthalmologist is a go. Beginning to discuss alternatives if special order lens still no available, even traveling to mainland.
Told Doc my cataracts are on hold until Sophie fixed - one of us has to be able to see. He chuckled.

Going out to flail.

Classic! You know the answer- bigger tractor.

But the FEL is the perfect size to smash down the vegetation in the organic mulch dumpsters.

Drew good to hear from you, sure hope they can stop the rollercoaster ride you are on.

BEF I still like your Z mower video the best because I could almost feel myself mowing with the Z. All I need is a heater to blast 100+ temps in my face, someone to throw sand in my face. The colors were really cool feeling and the video was so smooth. RNG and Ron you need to step up production so Drew and I won't miss our toys.:D I predict Drew will be moved in 6 weeks.

Drew, glad to hear you are showing the house, but not glad to hear about your health. I hope you are able to recover quickly. Our thoughts are with you!

Drew, prayers that they can help you figure out what's going on.

BEF, prayers for FIL.

Rick, prayers that you are OK too.

Thomas, how many Trail Cams have you lost?

Around 8 game cams but wildlife not the only ones that takes game cams.

Thomas, I looked up Lebanon NH on the map. Youz guyz are right on the Vermont border. Maybe the Vermont hooligans are coming over and taking your cams...Hope Boo Boo gets one.

I remember seeing your big "stack o'blades", and that you got the special coating to last longer in the sand. I know you miss it, especially in the heat.

I'm reading where hair salons and barbers can open up here on Friday....debating on cutting my mop top.

I got the new carb in for the weedeater, just need to put it on. Maybe tomorrow. Tonight was Cinco de Mayo and my wifey made home made tacos/tostadas and all the trimmings/fixings/queso....Pico de gallo. Just no beer or margarita tonight. Maybe Friday.

Couple drone flights today. 22 minutes total used 80% battery. Low battery was triggering on 2nd landing. Flew to back of my property. That video too big, so here’s one of the return flight.

28 right now...high in the mid-50's today. It's been a cool Spring so far, with the exception of a couple days above 60.

Dentist appointment on Monday went OK...I go back this afternoon for fitting the permanent dentures....then again next Monday (11 May) if any adjustments are needed.

Drew, I do hope you're feeling better! Good luck with the house viewing...I looked at the ad....really nice place!

Good morning, another cloudless day ahead.

I ventured out yesterday evening for the first time in over a month, just a few miles to get some petrol. Compared to driving a tractor, it seemed strange to be going so fast - 30 mph ! Like the last time, I saw many people on bikes, in fact far more were out walking and riding than were driving a car.

So sorry to hear you are having a rough time Drew. Hope the docs soon get you sorted and they find a medical genie to grant your wish for normal poop.

Ken, 6 hours of chipping sounds a serious workout and a lot of mulch. Did you win the contract to keep Don supplied ? :)

RNG, incredible that anyone would want to put combustible mulch and timber decking around a house in your area. They must be blessed with an abundance of optimism.

BEF, what a lovely plot of land you live on.

Good morning, the temp is 31ーF and going up to 52. Wind NE 6 mph. Sunny!

I got a 7 module training session yesterday on the policies and procedures of my company, the only way to pass was to get 100%. This is thanks to covid 19 and the no more than gatherings of 5 people. There are 23 drivers + Manager + dispatcher and time keeper. This is normally a two day deal when we can gather together. The good thing doing it electronically is that I don't get to drive south for 3.5 hours and live in a motel room for two days. For me it is win, win.
I do get paid for doing it, so I win that way too.
This coming November I will have been there 35 years and attended 33 orientation meetings.

This morning I am calling my supplier and see where my new roller is at.

The 'back to work' countdown is on. 12 days of freedom left.

Have a safe and healthy day all

Good morning! Cooler this morning after the rainless cold front blew in. 61˚F heading to the mid 80s. North wind at 6mph.

Up early as we are trying to work in the last few days of cool morning temperatures at the River Ranch Park liberating Oak trees. New parts for the muffler that vibrated off the chainsaw have been installed and I can now be in the lead group instead of the pulling cut brush out group. There is a certain amount of satisfaction in cutting out the invasive water hogging cedar trees under the Oaks.

Yesterday I missed the first neighborhood FireWise clearing, after the partial all-clear from the Pandemic, because I was busy spreading combustible mulch.
Actually I just distributed mulch to 10 piles around the 250 gardens. it will then be taken by wheel barrow to the mulch the 3' walkways in-between the gardens to deter weed growth.

The Governor was on TV yesterday easing some more restrictions after his charts showed that the curve of active cases flat and more people recovering and only a fraction of the hospital beds occupied. He also released a testing location website map of hundreds of locations in Texas with many not requiring a doctors referral.

Drew get well!
Rick we need to hear from you before we start checking the obituaries.

51 and wet, going to 61.

I enjoyed your drone videos, RNG and BEF. Been too wet to fly here, except for the birds...they seem to be going crazy. New additions: a pair of red-headed woodpeckers.

We spent too much time watching the baby chipmunks on the porch yesterday. I took Coco for a hike at the forest park and saw one of the trainers I know from the YMCA where I go. He says they got laid off fairly quickly so they could collect unemployment. I told him I was still paying my monthly membership fee as sort of a contribution...hoping they wouldn't have to lay off everyone. They have been closed just short of 2 months and may have 2 more to go before opening.

Probably do a dump run and diesel can fill up among other things outside where wet grass won't interfere.

Good morning! 38 now and drizzling rain again, may struggle to get to 54 today. Been a cool spring.....other than tomorrow, next 10 days don稚 promise any real warmth.

Got really busy yesterday on phone and email. Got a lot to clean up this morning.

Coffee is going down to easy this morning....

Get well Drew

Everyone stay safe out there
