Took my 6 year old boy for a ride in the Gator while the sun was out. I have missed having the Gator running. It has been since October that it has been down.
Anyway, with all the rains, I was able to show the boy where all the water comes from for our pond, and where it goes. We saw a snake, a large turtle, and one of those fast sand/land lizards cross a ditch full of water about 8' across, (barely made it). They are so fast on land and can barely go in the water, although it wasn't for lack of effort. I bet he had his engine wound up to 10,000 rpm.
We sure could've used a daisy red rider a few times.
Not sure when tonight's storms are going to materialize, but after they got within 20 miles of the epicenter in their forecast, I'm going to believe what they say on tonight's news.
glad I live about 15-20 feet up from the high water mark.
