38 this morning and headed to 66 today. Currently 64.

Left early this morning to run to TSC for some lag bolts for some winch replacements today. On way home get a phone call oldest is vomiting. So no winch replacement as I'm sitting at doctors office with him. All of our doctors should be able to build a new swimming pool this year. But this happened the year our oldest was born. Everyone stayed sick then also. Maybe it's a sign we don't need more kids. :). Laughing.

Drew. Been thinking about a new truck. But after reading on this site I'm not sure I want to go through it. Good luck on car shopping.

Farmer, you sure have had your hands full.

Went to look at an Echo pole saw, but they don't carry any in stock. Said they can have one in a week, cost is the MSRP, which I can get anywhere.

I have one, very nice unit, but heavy. Hard for me to hold up very long. Compare weights, though not very many good quality equivalents out there.

I have the same problem with the weight, but I think they are perfect for trimming trees.

My solution, after much thought is to hire the handyman down the road to hold it up.

I don't mind buying it and letting him use it.

exactly! I let my fireman helper use it mostly now. We use the forks, put a couple sheets of plywood on it, raise him up about 8 feet in the air, and then he goes another 15 feet or so up with this.

very pleased to get rye seed down finally but ate a lot of dust doing it.
200 pounds for one acre, that's what was recommended and it worked out pretty well that way, going over a few areas twice.

I am quite the frustrated shopper.

Back to the search.

If it makes you feel any better, I paid full retail with no rebate, no gift card, no nuthin'. But it's a good phone and I don't regret the purchase in the least. When it comes to things that I use every day and heavily depend on for reliability and ease of use, I tend not to sweat the cost, especially when I know it will last many years. My 4S went five years, and is actually still going strong, but I wanted to upgrade to take advantage of the 4GLTE network and fingerprint scanner for the login.

Wonder how many deer that will attract in a couple months? It will be the greenest spot around.

Farmer, Prayers for your little ones and you and your wife. Our town has an upper GI bug going around and it is keeping people down for a few days.

I just went and got my flu shot yesterday.

Got one more squirrel today. My daughter saw 2 more but I was too late with the rifle. Tree rats.

Patched a few spots on my old shingle roof.

I've got an 10/22 and it'll shoot anything you put in it, had one clunk in the 50 years I've been shooting it.

My wife has a 10/22 that I don't think has ever experienced a failure, regardless of ammo. All of my Remington failures were in either my Savage MkII rifle or my S&W 622 pistol They both eat everything else pretty well.

Had hoped to get in a little shooting today, but alas, I ran out of day again. Maybe tomorrow ...

All of the duds with the Remington green box were with a 10/22. I have several, and it didn't work well in any of them. But it was all from only two lots, so maybe it's better now. But there are so many other good choices, I'll never bother to find out.

I've got a newer 10/22 that's not as reliable as my old one, I missed a groundhog with the 20 year old one, had to be the rifle's fault!:D

Good morning. With a strong north wind I think this will be the first beanie hat day. After playing handyman at my daughter's yesterday, I'm more than ready to get outside and have the big city sights and sounds blown out of my system.

Good morning all, 33 going to 68 and sunny. Plan to take it easy today, we will see. Worked on filling the ditch I burried the wire in filled yesterday. Just pushed in most of it with the ex but the part where we walk I am filling by hand and packing it with a tamping rod. About 10 ft long and I am about 1/2 done. I am burying 4" drain pipe vertical so the inspector could measure the depth of the ditch after I close it up and was cutting it off and stuck the utility knife blade in my leg just above my knee. Bled real well so it cleaned out well. Has not hurt yet.:) Sounds like something a kid would do. :(

Drew, Hope things go well on the car hunt, can't say I enjoy it like I used to. Hope your winter crop does well as well.

My 10/22 is 25 years old and has always done very well and I don't remember any duds. Even shot some cheep Mexican made and it shot them well, just had to clean after every shooting.

Have a great day Ed

39 high of 68 today and plenty of sunshine. Muzzle loader season has started sounded like WWIII around here wife said yesterday. I do not mind deer hunting although I no long hunt myself deer that is but gut shooting a six month old deer is a little much. Found her in the pond being attacked by two dogs ran them off so I know what I will be doing today

Will try and wash up gator 550 then put it up for sale. Also start cleaning up Evoke as it must go on the block as well. We still have too many vehicles

This milder type fall weather should continue through November 17 or so before more normal temperatures appear. Some in the east might have a chance at a White Christmas but we shall see

Already drank both cups of coffee. 36° with light fog this morning. Heading to 65° with sunny skies. Daylight saving got me up to early. :( Got most of the fallen leaves vacuumed up. But by evening everything was covered again. So back to vacuuming up leaves today. Then some NASCAR in afternoon.
Farmer, best wishes for your families health.
Ed, be careful with sharp knifes.
Kyle, those bugs get passed around pretty fast when you have school age children. Got our flu shots earlier this week. No ill effects.
Txdon, I paid for mine though a AT&T plan. My next purchase will be from Apple direct. Unless I find a super deal elsewhere.
Good Morning All.

What a shame. :(
That's one of reason I'am firm believer must have permission to hunt pvt. land...except state land.
