Kyle,
I forgot to mention that when doing multiple colors on a single head 3D printer, the process takes a LOT longer as on every layer with a color change, the nozzle has to be purged and reloaded with the next color.
This is where a multi head printer has a huge advantage.

Good Morning
Its 33° and snowing here. High of 40 and partly cloudy, maybe some rain later.

Yesterday was a slow day of tinkering, brought some firewood up from the shed, cleaned out the fireplace, dumped the ash can and loaded the fireplace for the next fire.

The 3D print job for the day was some bench dogs for a friend’s workmate. He replaced the top and made the holes 3/4”, not realizing that the original had 20mm holes, so the dogs didn’t fit.

I took Zoe over to the Christmas tree farm to visit the workers and (some) customers, as many people are afraid of her size, regardless of her demeanor.

Played some acoustic music with neighbors after dinner, Got home after midnight.

What's left of the train rail on the NJ side
View attachment 4454160
Until the 1990's, or maybe even ca.2000, you could still ride on those rails. I seem to remember they even had a steam locomotive running for tourism, similar to the small New Hope / Ivyland loop on the PA side of the river, which would stop at the Lambertville Station.

The trouble was, Lambertville has always been in the shadow of the tourism juggernaught that is New Hope, and so always suffered lower popularity. That probably made it uneconomical to maintain a very similar tourist steam line, just 10 minutes' walk across the bridge from the New Hope station.

I will say, competition was good for the tourists and locals, though. As soon as Lambertville shut down their line, New Hope seemed to triple their ticket prices. 😲

66°F and 0 rain

TDay leftover pretty much taken care of. Dogs will be enjoying for a few days. We will be enjoying turkey soup.

I have a new role - doggy chaperone. My little 9 1/2 month old girl apparently coming into heat. With Makani being an intact male, need to have one of them in view. Crated Makana overnight in the big crate for 1st time. She was good.

Funny how we learn things unexpectedly. Local hospital recently changed to a new data provider and has been encouraging setting up account, so I did. Wandering around I found the records from my Nov visit where it was suggested by CAT scan that I had passed a kidney stone. Decided to read the full report.
Found:
BONES: There is bilateral L5 spondylolysis with grade 2 L5 on S1
spondylolisthesis. There is a chronic mild T12 compression deformity.

Hmm, what does that mean???
From AI:
The findings indicate specific structural issues in your lower and middle back. You have stress fractures on both sides of the fifth lumbar vertebra, which has caused it to slip forward by 26-50% over the top of the sacrum (L5 on S1), and an old, mild fracture in a mid-back vertebra (T12).

Guess that pretty well explains what can be rather dibilitating back pain. Think I should forward report to the VA, as it most likely goes back to my infantry days and that 100lb rucksack.

Have to chuckle reading about Drew’s New England trip. Good thing he ends up in Vermont. Had suspected a western route meant up thru CN, MA, VT, And return more easterly, not NY. Will be a great trip for sure.

Easy day planned, watch Football and keep eye on my 4 legged wards.

If anyone interested, DuckDuckGo has a $40 off bundle offer good until 12/2. Includes VPN. Been using the free to get TBN, but gonna try this one.
Also got another Eufy s340, $109.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great tractor day

That's a good price on eufy s340, I just bought another one and put it up at the farm.

Buppies, that was to me the only downside of burning with wood...the mess and stuff that drops off and for
sure bugs that crawl out in the heat. Like from the white cottony balls/egg sacks stuck on log, with a very uninvited friend
inside.

next Tuesday was supposed to have old friend come for lunch, vegetarian who I made home made mushroom soup for.
Forecast is not good, did not want her driving in that, so I'm driving there, not far, pretty close to Ken's home.
She's the sweetest old hippy grandmother type who won't own a microwave, that dates her...so I have to take the soup warmed up.
need to put a hot pot inside a larger pot I think

I really need to put more clothes on, create my own problems honestly. Should spend day in my fleece and lower house temp.
maybe...
Drew, I’d say your comfort and well being are the important part. Fully suspect a degree or so won’t be detrimental to your financial future and negligible impact on community.
