In Michigan Ethanol Free gas is called Recreational Gas. Available at many stations in my area.
Wish Offroad Diesel was as easy to get. Where it is available. It’s $.30 to $.40 cheaper.
They just call it "Ethanol Free" up here. (UP of MI) Commonly its premium grade.

43F, cloudy, and moist @ 08:30, heading up to around 60F for the day's high with abundant sunshine later.

Looks to be just shy of an inch of rain in the past 24 hours.

Back to more rain tomorrow mainly in the morning, also on Wednesday. Will certainly help as far as catching up on the drought conditions we've had over the last couple of months.

Ten Day now calling for a high of only 49F on Wednesday ...

Cold coffee from yesterday tasting mighty good, The Squeak is on safari out in the garage.

Woman was disappointed with the pumpkin bread - She forgot to add raisins (which I had requested ... or chopped nuts which She wanted)

Personally, I thought it was fantastic. Had two large pieces with butter and milk for desert. One loaf went into the freezer.

Got the pumpkin puree cooked down somewhat and added the remainder of the Libby's to it, looks to be about 3 quarts.

I commented that we were going to have lots of pumpkin ... which She rather disgustedly agreed with (since it means baking or cooking ...)

Some time was spent yesterday morning discussing various solutions to our water situation (low production from the well)

Pulled up the original drilling report/log @ ODNR, well was originally producing 15 gpm when it was drilled back in '68. Now produces about 1 gpm.

Then pulled up the drilling report/log for our new neighbor which had their well drilled last year. Approximately the same depth (ours is actually a little deeper IIRC, as it was drilled even deeper at a later point), in the same strata (sandstone) tested as producing 12 gpm ... (y)

Based on that, it seems likely that we're a good candidate for having our well hydro-fracked. So it looks like I'm really going to start looking in earnest for someone that isn't too far away that does water well fracking.

Not real easy to find, as most of the searches I've done just turn up drillers and pump guys.

On the agenda for the rest of the day:

Dole out another week's worth of meds.

Schedule a couple of bills for payment.

Woman picked up gas for the Cub the other day so need to get it refueled.

Swap out air filters while I'm at it.

Trip to Menards to return some items and pick up another order.

Probably more processing of pumpkins and squash to get those put up in the freezer.

Slight possibility of getting the second gate post set and braced on the north fence line this afternoon ... depending on how muddy it is outside.

Trash taken up to the cans at the road.

Hope everyone is having a decent Monday ... (y)

Good Morning
53° and overcast. We got a bit over 1/8” of rain overnight, might see peeks of the sun as the day goes on. High of 60 forecast.

Yesterday’s trip to Asheville went smoothly, wasn’t very nice weather there, raining and windy. Clear when we got back to Philly, but 30+ knot winds made it interesting.
I got home from the airport about the same time my wife got home from the farmer’s market. So Zoe was doubly excited to see us.

I spent the rest of the afternoon with the recordings from Saturday’s gig. They came out of the mixer on an SD card as 10 4gb multitrack wav files. So I have to break them into individual tracks and stitch them together to create a mixable project.

Not sure what will transpire today, lots of options, oddfellows meeting tonight.

Here’s a puppy picture of Zoe in keeping with the current theme.

Good Morning to All Who Celebrate! Currently 54° heading to a high of 61°, rain all last night and evening tapering off into a cool, wet and cloudy morning.

Weekend went well, Saturday some range time with my buddy and his wife and her sister, my station for most of it:
27.JPG

(Here's hoping it will post as it has one of those evil long distance wireless hole punchers in it) We spent most of the day at the range, from noon till around 5. Gave them their cut of the goodies from PH. Then it was off to the escape room my friend had booked for his wife's birthday followed by a birthday dinner. I didn't get back home until 11pm.

Sunday, I was invited to go back for more of her birthday weekend, (laser tag) but after our late night out before, I thought discretion was the better part of valor. Spent most of Sunday getting things in order again, cleaned all the wireless hole punchers and put them away. Got everything gassed up and ready for the week ahead.

Girlfriend's mother was in the hospital, Dengue fever. She needed a blood transfusion but fortunately is feeling much better. No real cure or vaccine for it, so we're relieved she made it through okay. Should be discharged tomorrow or the following day.

Dad mowed the whole place on Saturday, think that will be the last time we'll have to do that. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't shove off for the hunting camp this weekend.

Messick's keeps teasing me with a used 3pt snowblower...I'll have to do some more pondering on that.

Goals for this week: Survive work week, maybe some initial leaf cleanup, perchance look at the snowblower.

Y'all Stay Safe out there and be well!
Prayers for all Ailing and Recovering!

Morning all, 55 going to 63, cloudy , had a tiny bit of rain last night.
John Cleese didn't disappoint, full house at the Keswick.
No pics or videos allowed though.
We were middle near the mixer so a pretty good view.

Got back pretty late.
Did finish getting the screens in and son to train before we went.

David, amazing cut through the tall grass

tired, but day job is keeping me busy, lots of progress on new project last week.

Be well,

Good morning, the low is 44 and going up to 55°F Wind NW 11 gusting to 17 mph. A few showers.

I don't think I have anything to do today, nothing 'pressing' anyway.

Drew, how far is Littlestown, PA from you? Brightners tire has ethanol free gas according to their advertising.

Have a safe day all
They do have it there, but pricy. Probably closest to me, but I try to get it in VA where better price.

Good Tractor Morning,

Ron, off road diesel is basically the same thing as home heating oil but with a tax 😉 Been burning heating oil in my Massey for over 20 years, no problems 😉

😉😂
Nobody around here uses fuel oil around here anymore. It’s all natural gas, propane or electric. You can get offroad delivered. But need over 100 gallons. I do get offroad at a station about 15 miles away.
