speaking of air shows, have any of you seen a P-38 fly at one? Not many left, I think under ten.
as a small child I remember playing in the attic and up on the ceiling were these large airplane stickers of different
planes, likely all WWII vintage. And I always remember the twin engine twin fuselage P-38 sticker up there.
Funny the visuals you remember...
my Father was in the AirForce, never flew, and likely just liked the planes.
I think Louise below is looking mighty fine.

I've been to many and not seen one. Have been in a b-17.

Good morning, the low is 50 and going up to 59°F. Wind WSW 9 mph. They say 40% chance of rain and it is raining now.

I guess the tooth bar is going to stay on the bucket for another day or two. I don't work in the rain.

We really should have one tractor for every implement. That would make life easier. Would also mean that I would need 3 more tractors. :)

David, that is not going to happen until next Spring. I have about shot my wad for this year.

I am just about 'sold' on using good quality fuel oil. The guy I was getting my diesel off got whatever cheap crap he could make a profit off of. Now that I have switched over to the Petro-Canada I see a difference in not only performance of the tractor but the oil seems to be going farther in my furnace. This is a good thing.

I think maw nature just declared today a conserve energy day. Suits me just fine.

Have a safe day all

good morning, 60 going to 81 with some rain possible later in the day

The washing machine drain hose came off and dumped the water on the floor. Quite the mess and clean up. Took part of the wall off for better access.

Still have memories of helping mother with washing back in the 1940's. It was in a room in the utility building with a built in fire box to heat the tub with water, various basins and hand wringers

59 outside this Am, heading to lower 80's with rain (what is that?) expected this afternoon, late. Caught part of a local weather cast yesterday evening, said it has been 38 days since the last rain event.

Scored on the wife's friend hot tub yesterday. So I have a new project for the next week or so. Will need electric hookup and water. Also it looks like I will have to get creative with a privacy screen. Positioned really close to the Milk House, so it will be an add on for the possible AirBnB listing in the near future. Just need materials, labor is lined up. LOL. Also looks like a CT scan is needed today. I think I popped something again, so that is on the schedule this AM. Seems I cannot do things without something going amiss on me of late.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Good morning TBN!!
55 this morning going to the low 80s with chance of rain this afternoon. Could be heavy.

Spent the day working on my 08 Silverado. Changed the oil and new brakes all around. Forgot how much I hate drum brakes. Took me much longer then it should have. Thankfully it was much easier on the lift.
Todays plan is to clean up the mess from yesterday.
Not really sure what else I will get in to.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

best part Lou is unlike a car each new one doesn't cost you insurance or much of anything else
except a nice tarp if no room in the inn.

I wonder if any of us will buy an electric tractor in our lifetimes.
no oil changes on that, no spark plugs
at one point in NC I had 22 motors to maintain.
had a wall of spark plugs and filters
have had enough of that
