Good morning!!!!

tough morning for mold, I worked on the North end of the house that was getting moldy.
Used an algaecide and then scrubbed, then sprayed on wet and forget and left that on.
also cleaned the a/c compressor which was covered in light green mold, and foamed the
fins. They really changed color back to black so looks like a lot of gunk came off after four years.

then went to Popgadget's and had him cut the other ends of my garden shed ramps on an angle, dropped off the last
of the tomatoes and then headed home on a lovely day. Also dropped off this icebox watermelon, little thing but note the brown
stem opposite the attachment point

M7040 you will find keeping grass mowed at 4 inches leads to healthy grass less weeds so I’m told. Started doing that in 1985 never quit. Just food for thought

Wngsprd where did you go? Areas left to do?
Thanks for water suggestions I’ll be in touch

Coyotes here have bounty on them mostly hunted at night require expensive scopes not enough interest for me.

Arly used to hunt deer gave it up do not like the meat. Wish I was more helpful. Now I mainly target shoot. Will shoot deer if someone wants the meat

Just read recently that Delaware was now the 49th state to have a coyote population, with Hawaii being the lone holdout.

Farmers are against hunting them as they help with the deer population.

There's a rather large size mismatch between coyotes and deer. I'd be skeptical of that claim. The coyotes do prey on mice that helps keep deer ticks down, but that's as close as I know of. Do you have a reference on coyotes controlling the deer population in your area?

The coyotes around here prey on mice, and ground squirrel sized prey. They will occasionally dismember the remains of a mountain lion deer kill, but only after the mountain lion has cleared off 90% or so off the carcass. We have a den close by and get to know the local coyotes individually, so we get a chance to see them hunting frequently. I leave all of my ground squirrel trapping successes in particular locations that I know that the coyotes will come by and clean up. Not infrequently, we see them shadowing along behind us, waiting for any tidbits.

All the best,

Peter

The farmers here either give you free access to hunt them or seek hunters out to kill them. They prey on calves. I haven’t seen any this year but I feel they are about
