Good morning!!!!

Nice breeze blowing today. It got up to 90 deg, but most of my deck work now is in the shade. I would wait for a cloud to go over if I needed to work in the sun. Got the upper part of deck2 done, the 8x8.
Decided I'll move the post in the step to the outside of the step, so that will be the next portion of work as I get the lower deck2 ready for trex. Also need to decide on stairs, and get that post in, before I can install the framing for the picture frame on that end.
I've been reminding my coworkers that if they have anything they need to do out in the yard at work, to do it first thing in the morning.

We got 7 acres of asphalt around the building, so you don't want to be working out there in the afternoon.

I had a coworker bring the 500 gallon bulk fuel skid into the shop this afternoon so I could work on it in the shade in front of a fan

Had to change out the fuel lines that will feed the engine for a 20kw generator.

Still need to replace one line and vent the fuel cap.

I keep a big fan running in my back garage door, that opens onto deck2. Today would cloud up some like it might storm, but got nothing so far today, high just hit 91 deg.
Had lots of thunder 2AM last night (I went to bed at 1AM) but only .04" of rain from it. I was up late planning duct work modifications to put new AC upstairs in the unfinished room. It should go well. Lowes and HD don't carry much in the was of trunk duct fittings, but Menards has a bunch, so I have an order prepped. Items in stock I will pick up on next Ohio trip, which I need to do to finish the ramp for dad. The AC unit I bought for my room in ohio, i brought back because our AC not working, so my son is now using it in his room.

Paid property tax bill today, in addition to the new AC stuff I ordered, so very expensive day for me.

Oldest son just called, bemoaning the cost of engagement rings........ So that will be happening soon I guess.

Thats giving me nightmares for my upcoming adventure this weekend. Gotta bathe both my German Shedder, and a Siberian Husky.

It's gonna be sheddageddon x2

I wonder if they will allow me to blow them off afterwards with compressed air
Use your wifes hair dryer set to cool, or reverse the hose on a vacuum so it is blowing.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of -1.1C and it's presently 13.2C, mostly clear with a bit of a breeze. There was 2.1mm in the gauge @0900, which was actually from yesterday morning after I'd checked/re-set.

All in all, a lovely day was had yesterday which I intend to repeat today.

That's about it, take care all.

I was gonna drop my air compressor down to 10 or 20 psi and try that like they do in the pet stores.

I can't keep the shepherd anywhere near anything that sounds like a vacuum or similar.

I got a 50ft hose for my compressor, so I can plug it in, in the shed and reach out where we are washing the pooches.

I know the shepherd is gonna explode once she gets her bath. It loosens up that inner coat and it turns to fluff.

Im not sure what's gonna happen with the husky. Her outer fur is about 8" or longer so I can't tell if her inner coat is caking like the shepherds.

I might need my wife to hit me with the hose once i'm done. If this kicks off a ton of fur with as warm as it's supposed to be, i'm gonna have it caked too me

good morning all
up early, slept well, looks like a much cooler day today
Ron, wonderful color on that bird, what is it?
Mostly, I think you are well ahead on the posting

lots to do today, glad it won't be so hot
turns out I was pretty dumb on the tree planning.
When looked at from another direction, which somehow did not dawn on me, it is clear the tree
scheduled for downing tomorrow, the one caught in a crotch, was the neighbors tree that had blown over 15 feet
and landed on "my" property. And he had a tree guy there yesterday taking down another one...oh well. His dead tree dropped on another tree
I needed to cut so he did a little work for us. Whole area is a big mess, needs tractor to shove all the brush, some accumulated over decades, back over to one side, away from the road (and mostly out of sight). I suggested to landlord he invest 500 bucks in a chipper and that fell
on deaf ears.
