Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #206,141
all these porch pics, seems I painted my porch in NC on this day.
53 linear feet of old fashioned wood porch. At least the rails were plastic.
Painted that porch every year with sticky grey porch paint.

planted a lupine on a lovely cool morning, in this case "West Country towering inferno".
it's a perennial so hope it comes back.

also seems one year I was digging ditches in the front yard, probably to get rid of that lake shown in
a previous pic. I had several Long implements, very heavy duty, more designed for the larger Massey.
My Long grapple was really too heavy for Kubota but worked perfectly on larger tractor.

Slow start today, closing in on 10AM.
Predicted potential for a record warm day for the date. Could hit 75F.
Cooling off for the next number of days only making upper 40s and mid 50sF.
I sort of feel like I'm running in deep mud the last while. Not getting much of anything done.
This late in the day and I haven't even had brekky.
Oh well!
I am reti/arded. Only one letter off.:ROFLMAO:
Hug a dog today. They won't slap you like a strange woman.

68°F and 0 rain

Uneventful day yesterday except shock loading of the new Costco credit card. Let’s see how that cash back works.
Also a notice from UpS that my oil cooler has been damaged and reported. No clue what the means as for delivery and if usable.
Off to Hilo this morning. 6 X-rays, 3 each knee for VA disability evaluation.

County replacing our road today, but I expect minimal impact as my drive is the starting point. That’s where they finished 12 years ago.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

stopped by Popgadgets on way home from picking up rental car and stopping at TSC for 8 tomato plants.
the range seems to be
cheap stuff in front of supermarket 3.99
Tractor Supply 4.99
Bountiful Acres nursery 5.99
cost to grow them from seed .10

Paul was very nice to make lunch for me, everyone else had cleared out and I missed the alpaca shearing.
His wife Erica had been going for almost 12 hours and I told Paul he needed to rub her feet. She looked too tired to smile.

my furniture covers came, so I finished the last of the pillow stuff, hauled all the pillows out and then covered them in new
vinyl cases. Could have gone a size smaller but they have drawstrings which I did not get into.

looked at those 8 tomatoes and said I'm just too tired and came in.
turned a/c on, over 80 outside and it seems to take a long time to switch from heat to a/c.
probably won't need heat anymore, as i sit her sweating the a/c feels good.

Scott, thanks, learned something new every day
4.7 ounces not too terrible...
I'm sure it's for durability

Good Evening,
Well, got oil and filter changed on both the ZTurn and tractor. Also got the blades sharpened and even managed to do a quick cut of the front lawn 😉😃

Got the stuck tree unstuck, and partly cut into firewood.
Used BH to pull multiflora roses along the creek.
Sams club run, and filled two 5 gal cans for mower.
Amazon says if joist tape doesn’t come by tomorrow, I can cancel. I tried, but only see a return option, and it hasn’t shown up.
Did manage to order 4 rolls of same kind as before, supposed to come Saturday.
Should have bought roll at Lowe’s today, might run out tonight, so I can work tomorrow.
There’s stuff I could do, decided to do other stuff today

Good talk with dad.
His electric line to his well got taken out by excavator being hauled out.
Pipeline crew temporyfixed it, my brother drove over to check.

First load of pipe came last night, along with a trench burner, used to burn brush and stumps in a pit.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 15.5C and it's presently dipped down to 15.0C, overcast with some sporadic rain & calm. There was 4.2mm in the gauge @ 0700.

Yesterday ended with a 'quick' paddock transfer from #5 to #6. A surprising wombat showed up in the horse exercise area! It's the first one that I've ever seen here at Wagtail Park.

I then, after supper, went to bed early (1945) as I needed to get up this morning by 0300 for the ANZAC Day dawn (0545) parade & ceremony. Huge turn-out by the public and the rain pretty much held off.

I'll head back into town @ 1000 for the 1100 parade & wreath laying ceremony.

Then I'll come home & load up the ute with pre-polling paraphernalia for an early start/set-up tomorrow morning (0800). I may be able to chain-harrow Paddock #5 depending on the weather.

That's about it, take care all.

Lest we forget.
