Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.2C and it's presently 19.6C, overcast with a breeze.

<woof> It got up to 37.4C yesterday, so I'm glad that I had nothing 'pressing' to do outside. Even though it was a 'holiday' that I didn't know about.

Just a few phone calls to make today in my capacity as Churchwarden.

That's about it, take care all.

Good morning,

29° now highs low 60’s and sunny today. Winds SSW 10-15 mph.

Quiet day yesterday just did a little shop cleanup and helped Mrs with some housekeeping.

Grocery shopping first thing this morning and then a trip to town hall to vote and have coffee with a couple of friends. Not sure what else, to muddy to play tractor.

Prayers for all that are ailing.

Coffee has been poured. 43° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 53° with plenty of sun. Did not get much done yesterday. Just enjoyed the warmth. More of the same today. Only will not be as warm.
Friday with be the March Worm Full Moon. About 3am. Along with full Moon will get an Eclipse for about 1 hour. Earth will be between Sun and Moon. This will give us a Blood Moon. Moon will have a Red Color. Hope we get enough clear sky to view it.

29 going to 72. Happy 311 Day.

Lou, sure hope you are feeling better and get better news from oncology.

Buppies, you did the right thing for Holly. Prayers for her improvement.

Yesterday, I think I worked about as long and hard outside as I've done in a while. Cleaned up one of my wife's flower gardens...many old brown stalks of canna that had fallen over and were smothering the daffodils and daylilies. So, I had to carefully cut each stalk with pruning shears and pull them out without crushing the good plants. Learned a lesson about getting those stalks out BEFORE spring.

Also cleaned up branches from a dead tree. Ended up with two loads in the FEL bucket and firewood box/carry all. Then sharpened my chain and cut firewood and pole sawed for a while. Played soccer with Della in between. Found out I can kick the ball twice as far when I'm wearing my carbon-fiber-toe cowboy boots I use for cutting firewood.

My wife is still sick, and I was too tired to make dinner, so pulled out a couple of freeze-dried backpacking meals I had never tried...better to test them at home than find out I don't like them when on the trail. Fixed my wife a "gourmet" Thai Peanut Curry dinner, and I had chicken and rice and vegetables with a cream sauce...and fixed a couple of side salads. To stay authentic, we ate the meals out of the pouches 😁 . Both were good, but not good enough to reorder.

Then I started on our taxes until my eyes started closing

Good morning, the low is 35 and going to a high of 40°F. Wind SSW 14 mph. Cloudy. 40% chance of rain or showers.

I'll go out about noon or so and start scraping this place down. I've got two neighbours that need to be back bladed, too.

That is my day planned out.

Have a safe day all

good morning all
I sure did plenty yesterday and paid for it
got leg cramps in both legs, went into shower at 2am to run hot water on them
and got a face full of water. Water shooting out of wall behind shower head.
Groan.
ancient original copper plumbing falling apart.
Worse is there is no inspection area at all.
This means ripping the wall out of my office about two feet from my desk.
sheetrock dust everywhere, what a mess this will make.
only positive part is I'm not paying for it.

may have to shower at my brother's today

this sure screws up my plans for today.
hope to make a run out to get more dirt/amendments for raised veggie beds.

at least I was able to confirm my BIL will be bringing his Kubota miniex over on Sat morning to attack
my stumps. Hope to get lots of pics of that. Landlady delighted I'm doing it...she is providing manpower to clean up the mess
afterwards but I of course will supervise. Going to buy half a dozen bags of topsoil and see if that is enough to level things off.
Really don't want a truck load of dirt.

when I did the trenching/water mgmt around my orchard in NC it created a huge pile of first class topsoil.
word got around and neighbors started asking for some...
that pile went down pretty quickly.
