The above ground temp pipeline is probably for water, but they don't explicitly say so. I'm trying to limit the time it's there, as in the county, there are above ground water lines that have been laying for years and years. I missed the lawyers had put in a year limit. I want wording like, if it's still there, pay $x amount every year thereafter, with an escalation. Lawyers thought the year limit was enough.
I'm trying to look out for future use as a farm. can't build on ROW, fences have to be done in certain way. I'm trying to get them to replace fences, even though there are currently no cattle on the farm.

this pic is what the last oil well guys did to our gravel farm lane. Trying not to get a repeat of this.

pipelines are a must
we have big Texas Eastern LNG pipelines going through this area just North of
town over to NJ.
anyone who has lost land to eminent domain isn't likely to be happy, and hopefully they
get properly compensated
This pipeline isn't transporting finished product like that. A texas Eastern natural gas pipeline goes thru our county. Dad worked on it in the 1940's.

This is gathering from well pads, to go to processing plants somewhere. Just don't know why they want 3 lines. The above ground is most likely water for fracking. Probably one of the line is to transport frack water back to an injection well somewhere, one for crude coming out, maybe 3rd for gas products coming out.
There have been so many pipelines put in in the county the last 10 yrs, you would think there is no place to put any more.
Few years back the Rover pipeline went thru the county, it was an eminent domain line, that comes out of canada and goes south towards VA somewhere. That was a big line.

Currently we are limiting them to max 20" diameter pipes.

Good Morning! 47˚F, heading to 60˚, N wind, partly cloudy,

Just getting all outside work done preparing for the very low temps next week with a 20% chance of snow/ice on the ground. Some days next week it will be in the low 20s and not get above freezing.
Don it appears they have the salt trucks ready to go when needed..

marvelous salt truck picture, wouldn't that be funny to see.
of course they might have to breathalyze the driver...

Dennis that was some serious muck. Did they dump a lot of gravel on it afterwards?
hope they didn't drive off and leave that.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 7:43AM. Sunny. High 68F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

A few days Xfinity (Comcast) announced it would be upgrading equpment in the neighborhood and there would be no internet connection. Sure enough, I'm using the hotspot on the iPhone to access the internet today.

Meanwhile up north, the grid is down at the old house and everything's running off the battery pack and solar. No reason yet given for the outage.
Got my MRI today for my lower spine. ...Hope the doc can figure out why my legs get so painful when I stand too long or try to walk more than 1/4 mile at a time.
Got my MRI results back last week for similar issues. I have "narrowing" in my lower back. This from one of the ditzes that works in the office, if I want more details I need to schedule a time with the PCP. Probably means that one or more discs are collapsing and pinching nerves that run between the spine and the muscles they control. My doctor is referring me to a pain specialist, but that hasn't come through yet.

Sounds like a nice truck, Drew. Flushing an automatic transmission at that mileage can cause more trouble than it fixes. The flushing stirs up deposits that end up in valves and narrow passages, resulting in shifting problems. And removing all of the contamination could reduce the friction in the clutches and cause slipping. Better to just change fluid and filter. Maybe want to drive it a while to make sure there aren't any problems before pouring money into it for new tires and deferred maintenance items, especially if you end up giving it back to the dealer if they won't fix what's wrong.

Been fighting paper feed problems on a Canon all-in-one printer for the past few weeks and yesterday finally gave up and ordered a new one. The old one lasted eleven years, and the new one is supposed to use the same cartridges. Bought the extended 4 year warranty, too. One and two star ratings are running between 15-20% regardless of brand, but at $80, it's clearly a throw away if it breaks.

Tracked down a problem with the video rear view mirror wiring in the van, and needed to order a set of depinning tools to get the wires out of a connector. Will need to track down a new source of switched DC, as the one I was using gets interrupted when the headlights go to high beam.

My buddy is complaining of drowseyness and lethargy after the surgery and hospital stay, and I'm afraid it has something to do with the heart rate and blood pressure meds. They don't have a PCP yet, but do have a cardiologist referral, so hope they can find drugs that don't slow 'em down.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

65°F and .09 inches rain. A bit on chilly side last night.

Solar lights and Eufy cam (s230) came in. Getting those installed will pretty near complete the gate project.

Took the boys to PO yesterday and pleased to say they negotiated the ramp with little hesitation. Definitely easier on me and less stressful on them not jumping down.

Didn’t get generator transfer switch installed as I wanted to have enough time and not be stuck in a non functional mode, especially these days when I don’t get 100% charge, which I haven’t for several days.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Make sure you put it in the initial contract, that is where you have the upper hand.

Back from the dump/quack/town run. Quack was running 45 minutes late. She said there were a bunch of people that came late. I still maintain that if you have an appointment that the quack should adhere to the appointment schedule and the late comers can wait until there is an opening.
My own quack that I had since 1965 showed up late by a good hour one day and I called her on it. Told her that mark my words, I WILL make an appointment but I will show up an hour late and see how she likes it. I didn't, but she was never late for an appointment with me again.

Love the mobile salt shaker. ;)

We've got a Trans Canada pipeline running about 1/2 mile north of me. Don't know where it goes or what it moves, I only know it is there.
