Good evening
25° and descending.
Today started with a service call on a heat pump for my pal the mechanical contractor. He is swamped with this cold spell. We did meet up for lunch at Mission BBQ though.
I made it home in time to take care of a few chores before the band showed up for the rehearsal that was canceled last night. I still had a get together here with some guys that are local (and good musicians).
Afterwards I had to deal with a recalictrant hard drive from my recorder. It captures 24 track of audio in a proprietery format on to removable hard drives. I can pull them out of the recorder and transfer them to a FAT32 drive as .wav files, with special software that reads the drive and does the conversion. The issue was a drive that would hang up before completing the transfer. I won in the end.
Came back to the Old Folks Home to connect the BluRay player that FedEx left for me while we were playing. Wife came home from Farmers Market to Diana Krall on the big screen, we watched Roy Orbison in Black and White Night after dinner.
I had hopes of cutting some parts on the plasma table and doing some welding, but tomorrow’s another day.
