Good morning, the low is 22 and going up to 25°F. Wind ESE 8 mph. Cloudy.

Went to bed at 10, got up for P at 3:30 and back to bed. Got up again at 8:30. That is the most sleep I've gotten in one night in a long time.

Today is an energy conservation day, for sure.

Got up just a little bit ago wife still in bed hard evening last night wife wants to go home doesn’t live here very irrated. Finally got her calmed down at 2:30.

went outside thinking I'd get an early start and my is it still cold.
Decided to wait a little while, got some xmas stuff put away inside and will head out when temps
aren't in the teens.
headed for Hatfield and the rv, then maybe a stop at TSC with a xmas gift card burning a hole in my pocket, and then
on to Popgadget's to pick up some alpaca yarn
that will be boxed and sent to a master crocheter in New Mexico who is sick and needs some cheer.

and somewhere in there going to get car washed. Probably will do that first.
place still has a 7 dollar basic wash, not particularly good but gets the salt off for now.
until I wash it myself they never get "in the corners".

Good morning TBN!!

Right at freezing this morning with expected mid 50s and building clouds.
Laid back Christmas with just the wife and I. Didn't much feel the joy this year but it's almost over.
Spent a good chunk of the morning playing with the weather station she got me. Most of the rest of the day was movies, eating, and entertaining the cat and the dog.
We did finally get the heating element and they came to install it on Tues. Not completely finished as we still need a sensor but it's warm inside.
Nothing much on the agenda for today.

Weather guy yesterday morning said the High temp record for down here was set in 1950's

Morning all, 22 going to 38 and cloudy.
Made many calls to relatives yesterday, most are doing well.
Today BIL and wife coming over for dinner, then quiet until New years when we go over a friends.

Got an air fryer for Christmas, so threw in a bunch of apple slices and put it on Dehydrate. Came out pretty good, Wife also got me an X27 splitting Axe so I can do some splitting in the woods before loading up to split smaller on the gas splitter. I have rounds from fallen trees everywhere.

Off to heart Dr in a few, so far that is one issue that seems to be fixed long term.

Nice fire in the fireplace last night.

Gunfire in the distance, wonder if we'll notice any less deer, there are so many here.

Neighbors texted if we've seen their little french bulldog who must've ran off when they were pistol shooting. He's been here before, but haven't seem him today.

Christmas was special with all of our guests, they all went their ways, except for my 96yo mom, who'm I'll take home today.

Prayers for all our team, the wifeys that are in need, our country, Ukraine and Israel.

Oldest son and his girlfriend headed to town to meet up with some of his HS buddies.
Good meal yesterday, pork loin, potatoes, dressing, green beans, rolls.

found out last night one of my saturday breakfast friends fell Tuesday, from unknown reason, was taken to ER. They ruled out stroke and running more tests.

might have said this before, Couldn't get honda oil plug out with impact. Taking it to the shop up the road tomorrow. Son and Girlfriend head home tomorrow.

I've been going thru old pictures, want to send home son with a harddrive full of pics (more as a remote backup for me). yesterday went thru some old HD camcorder video and dated the files. was up late doing that.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.5C and it's presently 22.2C, mostly sunny with gusting winds (for the A.M.). There was 0.5mm in the gauge @ 0900.

Very productive day yesterday; scripts & groceries got, followed by getting the mowing done. The temperature peaked @ 32C whilst doing that but the job needed doing before my guests from Brisbane arrive tomorrow.

Today is preparing their rooms and vacuuming.

That's about it, take care all.

Yes there was kiwi. There's no 'traditional' combination of toppings, just available fruit/berries/etc.

A nippy 8F this morning and a freezing "fog" out everything has coating of frost and ice crystals drifting through the air and sparkling in the sun

Lou, driving through Salem looking at the hills to the west, I noticed all the trees on the hills were coated in ice ! Pretty with the sun hitting them but like you say , cold ! It’s about 10 degrees here now !
