Lou, propane tank close to the house.

About 15 feet from the corner of the garage. Depending upon how you read the regulations it could be marginal. It is also lower then the house so if it were to leak the natural flow would be away as propane is heavier then air. And it's over 20 feet to a window.

53F cloudy much needed on/off rain showers most of the day.

Been ho hum kinda day,change all fluids filters on Kubota $$$'s also darn good greasing and walk around tighten this and that almost set for winter.

Plans for the evening...hold down the recliner maybe watch some football until eye lids get heavy.

Thomas, I remember buying a 78 dollar filter for my Kubota years ago and really stared hard at it to figure out why it was so expensive.
that plus the better hydraulic fluid that Kubota holds so dear. But most of us have to change it pretty rarely.

what a fun dinner Mostly and I had in Gainsville. Ate at a local rib place and had delicious dry rubbed ribs and brisket. Lean as could be, but tender and mesquite smoky. Yum.
I was a pig and ate all mine, though I did pass on the giant plate of deep fried pickles I ordered. A "small" order if I remember my words, and geez out comes enough for four. Mostly and I manned up and ate some but after about five or six bites, you felt like you had a lifetime portion of fry oil...
and since there are so many cows around here, maybe the fry oil is beef tallow.
sure does help the arteries

tomorrow I'm up early to do laundry here at campground
then Mostly picks me up and we go for a boat ride on the lake.
simply marvelous, on the water
and then we will go to a texmex place for lunch.
And then like a normal guest that becomes like rapidly deteriorating fresh fish in the sun, I will head South the following morning.

It was the biggest sticker, but natch, it's Texas.

coming in rt 82 today I finally saw some trash alongside the road, a bottle and few bits.
Very little, but civilization reared its head. there really was no trash out West.
And I looked because now I was curious.

For me NC was the worst, where folks thought all the land was their ashtray
and garbage can. Just chuck it out the window, who cares.
just plain ignorant and uncultured

why is the West so neat? Must be how kids are brought up.

local roads nicely maintained, smooth, very smooth. Lots of nice ranches and farms, I always like to look at the name banners at their driveways. and usually the bar on top extends out past the sides a few feet. Something ranchey about that I'm clueless about, might be the original ones were just logs set up on top?

I had coffee with dinner but I'm still nodding off. Overall a very nice day.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 0.6C and it's presently 16.9C, clear with a wee breeze. There was 0.4mm in the gauge @ 0900.

Typical (?) Spring weather... Yo-yo temperatures, clear & windy then overcast with a brief shower. That was yesterday, so another indoor day. I don't know what's up for today.

Good evening all. 65ºF for the start, mostly clear, light breeze. Light wind, sky mostly clear, and high temp was 88ºF. Made coffee for start, went for bike ride, put gas in the boat and got nap before Drew called. It was nice meeting Drew and looking forward to tomorrow.
Ron glad you handy work has panned out on golf cart. Glad you got to conserve energy some yesterday. Sorry birds about to lose their bath.

Lou hope propane install went well. When I do Bike Across Kansas(BAK) start town is usually in Mountain time rest of ride is central so all time schedules are based on Central time.
