Good Morning Ted,
Scott, getting closer to completion..... how long have these been in process?.... 2 years might be good target.....
Well Ted, here is a shot of me unloading the black walnut in May of 2022 ! 😂
So yes, definitely a long range project !
I can only think how much would be done if I lived here full time ! 😉

Oh and here is a bonus shot of the fields all mowed ! We did get a little accomplished any way ! 🙏

sixty eight°F and .oh five inches rain

Splurge lobster dinner didn’t happen. Actually arrived at restaurant about 20 minutes early and just stepped onto sidewalk when my phone rang. It was the manager calling to explain lobster wasn’t delivered and therefore not available. I should explain the lobster is not normally on menu just as a special event and restaurant preorders the day before from other side of the island.

We did enjoy a very nice hamburger instead and gave manager a mild hard time. Her goal is to extend the promo another week. That would be 2 days after anniversary, but not expecting any complaint.

Of course she had to call and explain to each reservation, likely a dozen or so. Don’t envy her that task, but suspect it worked out.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Bill, so I have to tell you what happened at my drug test last week. I was told that I didn’t need an appointment at Quest Diagnostics ! I arrived at 9:30 and checked in at their kiosk and sat down. About 20 minutes later a girl comes out to tell me I either have to wait until 1:30pm or just go home and then come back! 😒 I finally had to agree to all of this nonsense! The only plus was that my employer had to pay for all this wasted time, so I made a few extra bucks ! 😀

Hope all have a good Thursday! 🙏
You can give me any drug you want, I WILL pass it. That is what I told my employer the first time he sent me for one. I put the kibosh on drug tests when they sent me 5 times in 4 months. The 5th time I told them I was not going as it was an invasion of my privacy. They told me that I couldn't go to the 'states if I didn't get one. My response was BOO-HOO! I haven't trucked in the States since and don't miss it one bit. That is why I glued my butt to Northwestern Ontario. I could make more money there than running to the states anyway.

I made an executive decision to wait until tomorrow for the lights as the temperature then will be into the 70s. Fine fiddly things with thin wires and wire crimpers and working at shoulder level are better done in sunny weather.

I've got some tin work to do the next day. I've got the tin and the screws for it.

I have also made the executive decision that my front mount Meteor snow blower is up for sale. 5 grand OBO. I wont got below 4500.
Just posted the blower in classified.

I found the hole in the tractor tire, a microscopic pinhole..... I'm sure from a cactus needle. Broke out the plug kit and went after it. Thought it was really simple and straightforward.....

Nope, not that easy.... got the plug in, seemed perfectly sealed. Nope! About a 1/32" away from the plug was another microscopic hole!

$27 later, the local shop had a patch on the area. BUT, and a strong BUT ---- the idiot kid working the tire machine tore about 8" of the bead!

He glued it back on, then put some sealant around the rim bead. Hopefully it will hold. I have a video and the pic if it goes sideways.....

And a quick quiz: what car is this? I know, but it's not a common one to see...

I bought coffee beans for the espresso machine. Divided up into smaller packages, vac sealed and put in freezer. I remember reading that vac sealing didn’t work well due to out gassing and freezing wasn’t a great option, but together were a good solution. Been pleased with results. Only thaw a packet at a time.

My wife's vegan German chocolate Texas sheet cake turn out so well I was wondering if the same basic recipe would be good for other cakes, so I put it to the test. I had a pineapple cut it up poured the cake batter over it, left out the cocoa added a cup of blended pineapple to the batter instead of applesauce and sprinkled coconut on top (now bottom) and it came out perfect after it was flipped. Taste delicious. Plus the pineapple has the healing qualities after surgery. I call it the Vegan Pina Colada Texas Sheet Cake.

Looks like a 1956 Ford/Meteor to me. Ford if American or Meteor if made in Canada.
