92F and sunny @ 13:45. DP 71F, HU 53%, "feels like" temp = 105F ...

92F is the forecasted high for the day here ... but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we beat it.

Got right lift cylinder reassembled and re-installed.

Figured out that the 6 pins I had in stock were just for the curl cylinders. Need to check into pins for the lift cylinders.

Replaced the 4 pins down by the bucket. Seems to have reduced the slop a considerable amount.

Topped off hydraulic fluid.

Took Kubota down to the garage and greased the loader.

Got most of the rescreen pile fed through the soil screen for a second time.

Need to relocate the screen closer to the pile and clean up the area where it was.

Then feed what is left through the screen for a 3rd time.

And that will probably be it as far as soil screening for the year goes.

But that probably will not happen today unless it clouds up more.

Need to get the air filter swapped out on the Cub, grass needs mowed which I may do today depending on how bad it is out there.

Refill the tube feeders.

Hope everyone is having a decent Friday ... (y)

Good very early, for me, (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low & and presently 10.2C. Overcast with, at times, heavy downpours. Very windy too. It's too dark to check the rain gauge. :D

I think that I'll head off to Launie for the conference just after 0600 and take my time during this weather event. It's usually a 2 hour trip but 'ya never know' with this weather.

That's about it, take care all.

96 degrees in Leavenworth Indiana
never been to Indiana before so another state sticker went up on the map today. Second one today, my brother's granddaughter put up the Kentucky one. We had a nice lunch at a local taco place that was pretty high end, and glad to bring back most for dinner tonight.
got lost...not my fault this time, I was looking for exit 6 into Lexington and the road was shown as exit 8. Not wanting to be fooled, I went by and the next exit was four. No 6. But I worked my way in from the other side of town and while didn't make it to Walmart parking lot, the next mall up had a huge open space I made a beeline for. I think it was 96+ there, the heat was just shimmering off the pavement

Going through the Daniel Boone national forest was very pretty, not that much traffic, but boy did traffic then build later Rt 64 was one lane down from three for at least ten miles. Lot of paving going on

I experimented on tonight's spot and it's a swing and a miss.
Love's now has about ten rv sites at many of their locations.
Site is perfectly flat concrete, everything works but they had nine spots here and nobody but me, and they put me in the end slot right next to entry/exit road into Loves and it's a constant shaking by heavy trucks
and it's way too hot out there for me to break down the rv and move it.
a/c inside rv muffles most of it, but wish there weren't trying to advertise with my rig being right out there..

check in kiosk inoperative and only a call button that no one answered.
so I walked in and talked to nearest clerk and he got the utilities turned on.
81 inside and struggling to go lower.
what I need is another tree to park under..

pretty breezy out and I can feel the rv move due to the sail effect of the awning put out. I never bothered putting down the stabilizer rams site was so flat but it would probably eliminate the slight wiggle. When the sun goes down, awning comes in

need to contact Paul/PJS who hasn't been on in a while and who I hope to see in St Louis.

good afternoon, 77 the high for today.
heavy thunder storm again last night and a few trees down including this big one that fortunately fell away from the driveway

Just realized I better go get that Stilh chainsaw in case getting blocked in by a big tree. The 16 inch Makita may not be enough of a saw to cut my way out

Went to town and picked up meds and ordered new glasses with progressive and changing to sun glasses when going out in sun

The excavating at the neighbor is continuing

Good Afternoon Drew,
96, thats HOT ! No shade and the heat from the concrete just radiating back up ! No wonder you cant get the RV below 82 !
Hope you get some cooler weather soon !

Frits, good luck with the tree removal, looks like a big one. Some good firewood if you dont mind wrestling some big rounds ! Fortunately you have the right equipment for the job at hand !

Just got back from friend's place, took them a couple of tomatoes.

Went over to check on an old TSC rotary 5' cutter that needs some work. It's missing the the 3 point hitch and the brackets for the tailwheel and the wheel itself. Top side of the deck needs replaced but the gearbox, PTO, and blades are all supposed to be there. frame otherwise seems decent.

Price is right (free) ... so it might be worth a little time and effort to fix it up.

Special Weather Statement has issued: strong thunderstorms headed our way, will see if they hold up or fall apart. Could really use the rain.

Temp hit 96F while I was out with a Heat Index of 107F.

Back to what I'm supposed to be doing ... ;)

Don, sounds like your pain honeymoon is about to end, when block wears off, hope not too bad for you. My shoulder problems hurt a lot so hoping easier on you.
maybe not. the home PT said shoulders are much easier than knees and some people are getting by with no pain pills. don't need pain pills today so plenty to last past Labor Day holiday. PT was a good session showed her my foot anchor on the bed to assist me getting up without using left arm. She liked it a lot. Amazon has them but they are sold out, so I just put a cane under the mattress to hook my foot on to to assist me to a sit up position on the side of the bed.

went though 5 exercises which I needed help with 2 because of the lingering effect of the block and block could last for another 48 hours from today. still no pain after exercises.
