good morning, 73 going to 82 no rain

Fixed many tree shelters yesterday and cleaned up the shop. When doing repairs that don't go easy it accumulates lots of tools to find solutions to a problem so it is now back to normal. I tend to remember where tools used to be when changing storage locations but it has been long enough in their new locations to where I can actually find them. Somebody said if you look for it and it is not where you think it is then you should change to that location.

The groundhog is boring under one of the sheds. Not sure if it is still active so blocked it with a rock to see if it opens up. It is a long shot but the 243 Browning lever action that I bought in 1970 may be up to it.

D: Applying for visa's to Vietnam and Laos for vacation, Japan no visa required. Getting ready for several overseas work trips.. Attended a discussion on travel to Vietnam, a police state, and precautions to take. Don't bring anything with Blue tooth devices. Bring an old phone. No wifi etc. Sounds a lot like some of the trips I made back many years ago
Had people in Vietnam recently, said it was more relaxed than they heard.
Talked about great food, was hot/humid.

Laos is a tough place still, but crime against tourists is quite low to non-existent.

I remember the market in Laos, not too much appetizing there.

Good morning! Low of 57°, going up to 87°. No more chances for rain in the ten day forecast. Dry air from the west will dominate.....
The worst part is the temps will climb back into the mid 90's by Friday and stay there for all next week.

Definitely taking the trimmer for a walk today while the ground is still moist. Cuts the dust cloud down to almost nothing.

Then PT this afternoon. Let them see how bad the knee will swell. Maybe a different treatment should be considered.

Better get moving before the heat takes over....

Everyone have a great day!

The backlog of surgeries from covid is over. I'm scheduled in two weeks if I pass all test and can stay healthy. My goal is to be functional by the time Drew makes it to Texas. Enjoying a millet meatloaf, for dinner. And you thought millet was just birdseed.

96˚ Heat Index 103˚ Water temp 92˚
