Good morning!!!!

think I found my answer
this place will build an rv table out of real cherry wood for 450 bucks. And do it here in the US. That seems like a very good deal.
probably have to go with dark maple to match, but maybe if it's real, another contrasting wood might be interesting.
beigey brown couch, tan floors, all pretty tan/brown in there.
a nice piece of furniture would go a long way to making inside look less plasticky.

inside now trying to stop sweating, but will head back out and measure existing table.
real cherry is a favorite of mine, only one that absolutely won't work is oak.
need to make sure next person who owns this rv will like it too...

Looks like a veneer would be a good cover for that table?

it would
I don't have the skill
though maybe just glue, scissors and a roller?

it's a poorly built oem table that prior owner welded new feet on, didn't even come with feet.
if that cherry table is a slam dunk replacement, well.....

got glue?
got scissors? (I do)
got a roller

we shall see
want to know lead time on table, has to make late August date.

of course Ken, if you could simply shave off a sixteenth of your new table and glue it on top, that would work too.
neither of us have that machine for sure....

Cherry and Maple are both good looking woods, when we redid our kitchen all the cabinets are Hickory and the ceiling is Knotty pine.

I wonder if there is someone in witness protection under the blur, and I don't mean Don...
Not me...🤣
not happy to find the cheesy dining room table in rv has split its top, just vinyl over mdf it looks like.
So I need to either put another layer of wood on top, as thin as I can buy it, or perhaps even fake wood vinyl.
Home Depot caries Formica like products, Drew. wouldn't be too difficult to strip the old vinyl off the table top and contact cement on a new piece of Formica. Then trim it with a router. But use Barge cement if you want it to stay on forever.

69°F and .06 inches rain

Things dried up quicker than expected yesterday and got a couple hours mowing. With luck another couple hours today will finish that area.

Got to talk with my tractor tech. Unfortunately he hadn’t had response from higher up. Didn’t seem surprised as he said he had submitted a lot of data. I suppose the holiday could be a factor as well. He’s going to reach out.

The kalbi beef grilled up really nice. The wife made me a lemon meringue pie completely from scratch. Delicious.

Mow this mowing and try to get done in time to catch the County zoom meeting that will be discussing a tax proposal.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

82F and partly cloudy @ 12:00, DP 64F, HU 56%, "feels like" temp is 85F. Calling for an actual high of 85F for the day.

Got area down here around the house pretty much all mowed yesterday. Maybe one little area over on the west side that still needs hit, as it was getting too dark to finish that up.

Woman sprayed summer squash, plus some other plants, with Sevin while I did that.

She also emptied the Japanese Beetles out of the trap bags. We stick the bags in a bucket of soapy water to ensure they're all dead and then dump them out in the woods. It's a very nasty job due to the smell ... 🤮

Took the Kubota around back and popped out an old rotten landscape timber at the planting bed at the southeast corner of the house.

That area is now ready to have several large hosta and a Stella D'Oro removed. There's also one more rotten landscape timber there that needs removed as well ... but can't get to it until I take out the plants.

Also pulled one of the t-posts in the big flower bed. Still two more to go.

Got the Stihl pole saw out and did some pruning of the hawthorn tree over in the east planting bed to give the Stella D'Oro's some additional afternoon light. Still some more to do on that. With the pole at full extension it was ... painful ...

Hauled the trimmed branches from that up to the brush piles along the woods up by the shop and shoved the piles a little further back into the woods.

After that I moved friend's new bucket into the shop.

Then showered and got cleaned up for July's "Thirsty Thursday" over at friend's place. Food was great and we had a good time.

Came back a little early as Woman had an appointment to get Her hair cut over at neighbor's.

Once we got back I finished emptying the Water Buffalo on the gingko tree, some Rose of Sharon, and some swamp milkweed out front.

Then took the WB around back, refilled it, and moved it up around the northwest planting bed.

Ended up heading up to the shop around 22:00 and got the center tooth in the toothbar cut out:

Was originally thinking about incorporating the tooth I removed back into the toothbar but I think just leaving it with the six teeth will be fine.

Would have been good had I figured that to begin with ... as it would have been just a single weld ... rather than the two it's going to take now ... 🤬

Not sure what all on agenda for today, but some glyphosate spraying is probably going to be on the list since the winds are light and there's no rain in the forecast for today or tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a decent Friday ... (y)

Careful that is what tore up my shoulder. A shoulder harness is available that takes the load off the shoulder. I should have used it since I have it
Your garden looks amazing. The work you two put into it is paying off
