Good morning!!!!

Beginning of another heat warning.
Only until Wednesday.
Redumnant warning to stay cool, hydrated...
Every news announcement starts with the warning.
No sh-t Sherlock.
If you're hot, sweaty, thirsty. Cool off, have a shower, have some water.
It's really simple.
If Darwin had been right half of modern society should be dirt napping by now.

She already has the energy and stamina, but bones not fully developed enough for a big hike.
Wngsprd- that's important that you do that. Some puppy owners don't know about the closing of growth plates and push their pup too hard too fast.

Forecast is 104F today-- still another 5 days of high heat. I've heard most wildfires are man-caused so I hope people are more responsible in the heat. Fighting a fire in this heat would be miserable.

The onboard motorhome generator is fixed. Next is to deal with the $#@^$^$^ refrigerator. It's an absorption type refrigerator-- Norcold 10LX-- I have simply *had it* with crappy RV refers and I am shopping for a replacement. The newer 12V compressor units with Danfoss compressors are much more efficient than the older models.

I did buy an Onan 4500i generator as a backup for camping. It's portable, but electric start including remote keyfob. I will never be stranded without power again, but also one more thing to lug around. I'm following the instructions for the break in period so I hope it will give good service.

Buppies-- hope your wife improves-- you have a lot to deal with, my friend. You seem to get through things OK but it must be draining ...

Everyone have a great day!!!

Good morning! You can tell this is not the typical summer morning. 75˚, cloudy, breezy 14 mph out of the NE, winds will increase each hour and get up to 22mph with a possibility of rain and the high of only the mid 80s. We are too far West of Beryl for it to make a big impact its only making a cool mid summer day.

Will take wife to fabric shop to look for new material for drapes in Hearth room, then her Spanish group has a review study session here while I prepare for the appraisal hearing in the study.

The ring camera doorbell is working, on my phone but they are having issues and it cannot be installed on my wife's phone. They say they are working on the issues, whatever that means. I will install the additional cameras tomorrow, the weather is to "iffy" outside today.

Buppies hope you are feeling better, it is really bad when you feel bad and you have to take care of your wife's mental issues. Prayers sent.

NHBX happy birthday!

Good Morning!!!! 55F @ 4:30AM. Areas of fog early, becoming sunny this afternoon. High 76F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.
No relief from the heat in the 10-day up north, so I'm going to enjoy working down here for the rest of the week.

Took my buddy's dog to the beach yesterday, only thirty minutes away. The drive back was longer due to Sunday afternoon traffic returning from the long weekend.

Got a good start on moving all the VW stuff back into the van, but still have more to do. Hope to finish that up this morning before tackling some yard work.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a smooth start.

Good Morning
80° and sunny. High in the low 90’s to look forward to.
The only silver lining is that the mowing has slowed way down.
Yesterday was pretty much eaten up by my trip to Maine.

Today started with moving hay from the shed before it got too hot. I’ll have a bowl of cereal before i get to work on the old folks home.
Today’s goal is to run the gas line to the boiler and range. It was tempting to use CSST, but I gonna do it the old fashioned way, cutting and threading schedule 40 pipe. The flow rate is significantly better, and there is no question as to its durability.
I also want to tie all the waterlines into the 3/4” supply trunks. All the pex is run, I just need to make the connections and tidy it all up.
Hopefully nothing will pop up and get in the way of progress.

Morning all, 78 going to 94 and sunny, again.
Drew visit, lots of great string beans and cucumbers.
Dog walk in town and then off to neighbors for their daughters birthday party.
Then some time in the pool.

In between all this did the resin-epoxy pours in smaller batches, that worked well.
Now to decide if I want to do top in Epoxy or spar varnish, will seal bottom with varnish either way.

Sorry to hear that Buppies, prayers sent.

Happy birthday NHBX!

Be well,
Filled to the top with resin. Now do I do the whole top resin or spar varnish?

On dog walk yesterday, saw an Avanti pass by a little later on.
