Massey started right up after battery charged. I left the big tiller on it, so tilled a couple passes at end of garden where pumpkins go later.
Fueled up BX, put rest of can in L3940. Out of diesel now.
hummingbird just came to feeder in front of me, nice breeze right now.
Sitting on porch with a cold lemonade.
One of many perks of retiring. :)

Good afternoon to the Good Morning!!!! crew; still in Orcutt, CA.
64F @ 1:45PM. Partly cloudy. High 68F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph. Higher wind gusts possible.

Just a thought about the ECU, David. If it is a heat related problem, and you can get it to stick in the failed mode, try shooting it with some compressed air or a CO2 fire extinguisher to cool it off. If that gets it going again, see if there are components inside the ECU box mounted on heat sinks. If so, there's a good chance the heat sink compound has dried out and is no longer working. Take the two pieces apart, clean them, and apply new heat sink paste.

Not sure about this, but I wouldn't be surprised to see an image size limit imposed here on TBM. It only takes a few hundred thousand killobytes to display a handsome photo on the web, and posting megabyte files is a huge waste of server space and network bandwidth, both of which cost TBN money.

It was a nice weekend here. Overcast in the morning with fog all day along parts of the coast. Got some shopping out of the way on Saturday, then on Sunday a buddy showed me some favorite motorcycle roads. The old Zebra bike ran well with the new rectifier in place, but the new helmet is noisier than the old one. Sounds like there's an air leak around the shield, so that needs some looking into. Had dinner and overnighted at my friend's place, but they were up most of it with intestinal distress. I got out of there as soon as I could this morning, and am keeping my fingers crossed I keep feeling fine.

Finished unpacking the van this morning, and will get some photos shot and posted for more items I need to sell. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!

Well, found some motivation..... half the weeds are gone. Apparently, I forgot to add fuel to MY tank...
wore myself out, knee is screaming. The last half can wait until tomorrow or the next day.....

Dennis, seems like you have more energy than me... feel like a road trip? I'll even let you play with the tractors.....
Sorry to hear about the crash but glad that it still flies. Neat pics.

RNG, glad you got to ride some good roads. Apparently you were going so fast that the draft sent all the Cali heat our way.....

Sitting on the porch having a nice cold drink too! Much cooler in the shade. Went up to 87°, now back down to 85°. Right on the edge of my heat tolerance.

I think it's time for a shower and to relax.

David, is the tractor still under the 6 year powertrain warranty?
The ECU controls the emissions system.... by law, they have to fix it under the emissions law for 5 years. Might be an alternative way to get it fixed....
threaten to call the EPA!

But, they might get out of it by saying it goes into "limp mode", so it technically is still limiting exhaust emissions. Worth taking a shot at it though.

And got new ceiling fan switch installed, but medium and low look like same speed to me. I hooked up to same numbers on switch, but numbers in different order from the old switch.

I use the 5/8 bull line , but use a throw rope with weight to go over the branch.
Bull line is too heavy to throw.
What I have, but got on sale:
Thank you Ken, I have it on order. 200 ft of 5/8 inch bull line, throw line and throw bags, block pulley to be able to change pull direction and bags for storing it.
Was hoping I could use this ball thrower for Cody for the throw line. I will give it a try to see if it will save my shoulder. Should be able tie the line to the ball.
I believe Newberry had suggested this a while back

I actually have come to prefer a slingshot.

I've better accuracy. I tie about 5 to 8 large nuts to some monofilament for the weight. Get that over the branch and pull up my "cheap" climbing rope. (Cheap as in ~$101 for 500 feet of high quality climbing rope with a breaking strength around 6,000lbs from CMC.)
