25 outside right now, heading to 50. Should be a nice day.

Spent most of the day yesterday at Dad's place, and on the road. Took his neighbor out to lunch, they helped me out over the years keeping a good eye on Dad. Here is a shout out for great neighbors. It will take me a few days to get mentally adjusted again to the new reality. Just angry about the whole situation, and the lawyers and courts are just so s l o w about stuff.

Here at the home all is well, I am hopeful I will get to my Milk House bathroom today. But that means the real job has to be back under control. We have a timeline we must honor on the job, so people are freaking out and it is very interesting these days.

yes that is neighbors water from his pond. He can stop it by complying with the permit for the pond. He is acting like I am harassing him for bringing this up. And according to the county raising the berm with new dirt on top of the established berm will fail and could cause severe damage from a breach

Morning all, 29 going up to 48 and the sun is coming up without clouds!
Got the last furring strips, screws and corners to finish the sheetrock project.
Wife selected the paint color for the metal shelves, took about 5 minutes, a new world record.

Son drove from here to friends house and then on to Princeton.
Had his first moron driver incident,
Person in left lane cut across him and the other 2 lanes and got on the exit almost almost on the grass ramp divide.
Son did not panic, but could not believe someone would do that, told him to expect these kind of things and it would help him keep out of trouble.

Wife almost hit a deer Friday for the second time in a week she full on braked and it seems the deer lived to tell the tale.
These are whole families who run out from the woods and into the road. It's getting crowded here, had 9 deer on the little patch out front the other day.
Still trying to figure out why people would protest hunting at this point?

M7040 - Groundhogs have enough strength to push up the fence. They pushed aside steel panels to get under my poolhouse with relative ease.

I seem to remember that I have to clear out and re-base the outdoor mini-garden.

I've been fighting with my Windows 10 PC the last few days. I noticed "Photos" and "Calculator" stopped working. Apparently a recent Windows "update" (boy, how I've learned to hate that word...) killed them. I just saw that MS admitted a problem and "are working on a solution". It seems they (as usual) forget that most of their users have "older" hardware, and the update was not backwards compatible. Sigh...

GD played in a HS play yesterday together with her friend. Her friend killed herself yesterday after the performance,
She is devastated
She was very popular
Howard county school system is pretty good so there should be counseling available
She is with some of her class mates supporting each other and with us and kids providing support

The Pacific is churned up, 12 footers and lots of wind

Wow that pix really captured the fury of this recent storm.

Close to forecast, we got 10" of snow, not a foot as expected. As of 4am it warmed to 35F with a little rain-- should be a nice mess by later today.

Morning all, 22 going up to 47, sun is peeking through the trees,
Mini-garden cleaned out, still need to put down weedcloth, have plastic cover on most of it now.
Blackberry and sage trimmed back to reasonable.
Got the last furring strips cut and ready to go up.
Dog walked at peddlers village, pretty empty, but she got to meet up with some other dogs.

Drew's Greenhouse is up, now he can make it his own with upgrades. Hope it works out well.

Talk to my father in San Diego, he had no idea big rain was on the way, but he is inland enough he usually doesn't have problems.

Good morning! 51˚F, cloudy now but clearing with a North wind it will be in the mid 60s this afternoon. Maybe I can finally get to the garage cleaning today I have been putting it on the back burner for a week now, and with several desk task to do it might not get done today but at least it's on the list.

Deerfield Beach, 59 to start going to 65 !
Some showers this morning, not one of our better days ! Actually yesterday turned out ok, the sun did come out later in the afternoon ! We leave here very early on Thursday morning. All in all we had pretty nice weather while here !

GM Bill ! Glad you got that figured out ! The prices of stuff these days are mind boggling!

Drew, will be looking forward to your cross country excursion! It will be like reading John Steinbecks novel in real time ! I have to admit, that Texas BBQ has my attention!

Finished two complete books down here ! Don’t think I will start another ! I hardly ever read at home so that was an accomplishment for me !
