Cold front is here and we have dropped to freezing. We won't see above freezing again till Wednesday noon. No precipitation tonight.

Good evening all. 28ºF for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Windy early then wind backed off after front passage at noon. Sky stayed mostly clear, high temp was 52ºF. No bike ride today just not up for it, to cold. My sinuses and cough not getting better. No motivation, cold and inactivity and unwilling to leave fire, not getting anything done. Need more focus.

Yesterday was sunny, that fresh snow looked like just out or Swarowsky workshop.
Today is cloudy. Tho little warmer. If we can say like this about -10C

We are about to leave hotel. Car plugged in, warming up. Long drive ahead.

Boys still have one last game this morning. Against hosts. Should be easy game.

Yesterday they won first game rather easy and started second game very promising. There was few moments when our team was +10. But then somehow ALL leaders collected 5 fouls. They were playing like they have -30 not +10. Coach couldn't calm them down. Referee was somehow one eye blind, too. At beginning of last quarter was tie and at the end -3...
Not a big deal, loosing sometimes is more important (for mental stability)

What’s normal temps this time of year?

Seasonally, we don’t have a great variance. Daily swing 65-75° mostly, with some a bit below or above with daytime temps in the 70’s usually. Days below 60/0ver 80 can count on your fingers. But even today, I was comfortable in shorts and a tee. Today’s high was 70°. That said, this relates to here at our house. Temps will vary a few degrees by location and elevation.

Pour first cup of hot coffee. 8° with lake effect snow and wind. Heading to 11° with chance of more snow. Got snow plowed on my place and neighbors. It was heavy wet snow. Not sure I will do anything with latest supply of snow today. Good day to spend inside where it is warm.

slept well last night, nice dinner at friends last night.
These are my friends with home in Delray Beach FL. Well, the home
is sold. Never even made it on the market, sold to a neighbor.
bought 8 years ago for 950k, selling for 1.65M net. Pretty nice appreciation...
my friends are waiting on a new home being built in a senior community near here.
He is pretty much confined to a power chair, so home will be all ramps and hopefully will make him
more mobile.

Drew, and others. My pictures are here to be shared and enjoyed. Glad your sister loved it. Took the picture after snow fall in January 2021. I think squirrel was looking under snow for its supply of nuts. Saw similar actions yesterday. But no pictures.

Was looking over my 4 pages of To Do list. Saw the word Antifreeze. Opps. Never checked it on newer tractor. Put warm clothes on. Went out and checked. Tester showed good for -40° F. It was cold in the barn.

Good morning, the low is 0 and the high to -9°F. Wind WSW 7 mph. Periods of snow.
We got an inch overnight. Not plowing it.
Supposed to be another inch today. Not plowing that either.

Today is an energy conservation day for sure.
