Don, glad your weather is better.

Happy Anniversary, Ken and wife!

Buppies, prayers said. Hey, come by anytime for some Perry Mason...always have about 25 episodes on the DVR.

Ron, great pic again!

dftodd, congrats on those fish!

Great day in the mountains yesterday. Took my longest hike of the summer.

Thought this boulder looked like someone wearing a blanket with his arms crossed.

55 outside this AM, heading to upper 70's. 76% humidity.

Fall weather for sure.

No rain, none in the forecast for the next week. All grasses are beyond crunchy. It's dusty.

Yesterday while cleaning out an outbuilding, trying to find more under roof space, I found a toilet. Still in the box. It's an illegal one. Perfect for the Milk House. I recall swapping it out for a pull chain refurb we did. 20 years ago. Wife is happy.

Found more space too. LOL. Dump runs today.

Hope all have a great start to the weekend. Be safe.

Good Morning!
God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).

62.6F going to mid 70s, cloudy with rain probable.

Fundraiser dinner went well, blew the dirt off and enjoyed the food.

Harry goes to Doggie Daycare today, so we can split all the pine rounds in peace. Harry is a bit of a Luddite, and objects vociferously whenever I use power equipment - power washer, leaf blower, chainsaw, circular saw (sometimes a handsaw even) etc. So running the splitter would be ear-splitting with Harry’s running commentary…

Yesterday’s wood delivery had five more pine logs with need to be cut to length for the sawmill, and 10 sourwood logs, which burn quite well but when fresh cut are a bit stinky (hence “sourwood”). When theyare seasoned and burned, it smells like brisket being smoked.

i hope everyone has a happy healthy safe productive blessed day!

good morning all
a cool 53 going up to 75 today in sunshine, should be a nice day
after PT have nothing planned other than packing stuff in rv. I leave on Monday for Delaware, then to NC.

watched a pawn stars show where someone tried to pawn a fake Continental Congress coin, the US's first minted coin.
It's a very cool coin, and I love Ben Franklin's saying on it. It is said he designed the coin.

Ron, the resolution on your camera is amazing.

middle of September already, life seems to fly by
