Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #176,411
my memory was Advent speakers came out as competitors to AR and KLH and Infinity.
and had excellent bass for their size, which took a fair amount of power to drive.
But most receivers today have power to drive just about anything until you go high end.
If the AR 3A was too expensive, and they definitely were power hogs, the Advents were a good alternative.

I can't crank up the music very loud but my little Klipsch speakers have those horns about three feet from my head
and I am very pleased with the sound. They are good self amplified speakers, a little warm and colored, but exceptionally open.
Helped by a Klipsch 10" powered sub on the floor under my desk.
all connected by USB to computer.

I can add a turntable to this setup also. There's so much online that's free.
and lots of sites touting audiophile music streaming so the source material is much better.

I have fun once in a while with a low frequency sweep.
How low can you go....
5, 10, 15hz still quiet
maybe under a 20 hz bandpass filter?
20hz something is vibrating
25hz the room and desk start to shake
30 hz glad I have no neighbors
35 hz now that's a thump
etc

sad part is doing the high frequency sweeps and finding out how
much hearing I've lost

Advent was founded by Henry Kloss. The K in KLH. He was also one of the founders or AR.
Amongst his innovations were CrO2 cassettes, Dolby B implemented for cassette recording, Projection TV and more. A true visionary. And all of his products were an outstanding value. Be interesting to Google him.

Been good day...Got everything done I wanted and some slow motion puttering. Scooter and I had good nap that kitten sure can purr when sleeping. 😳

BIG Boo stroll by early than 3 fox pups came trotting by,Mrs inform BIG Boo drag his blanket near shed front door laying on it...kinda strange why.

Watch some LSU & Fla.St.game try not to doze off.

Enjoy your evening all.

Day 72 of 100s actually 104˚. Starting the 10th we should slip down to 99 for a few days and the 10 day forecast is never wrong.
The farm called and wants me back for the fall festival, I told them possibly in mid Oct. If I can see the end of probate. (sounds like jail time). I'll have to stop by there one day and go up and down the hi-rise tractor about ten times to see how my knee takes it.
PJ - nice Anniversary pic
Scott vt - looks like a mighty fine time on the lake.

Kyle the mega neighborhood garage sale is the same day as the last day of the estate sale but we are open later and also two days earlier. We can definitely spend that new raise for you.

Very good day mowing. Finished up the Laupahoehoe end and another couple hours on the Hilo end. Almost ran out of diesel, but caught it in time to make it back to tractor shed.

The hot tub felt especially good.
