Good evening all. 75ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. light wind except during thunderstorms, sky cleared of during afternoon, high temp was 88ºF HI 95ºF. Chapel to start day then kitchen cleanup so I could make pancakes. Did get work done on mower drive belt replacement, not tested yet. Step daughter came over to visit, her church pastor retiring in September.

Coffee has finished brewing. 60° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 79° with a smokey haze. Was feeling better yesterday afternoon. Since NASCAR race was canceled. Decided it would be a good time to finish coating pole barn roof. Got about 3/4 done when I started sweating like I was taking a shower. Got off the roof. Put things away. Took a shower and rested. Feel good today. But with Air Quality warnings already this morning I will find things to do in the house.

Lawn section beside road also slopes will need weeks to dry before mowing,front field lest good month before mowing,not signs of drought like last year.

Plans for today...Take trimmer for good long walk before noon,town for critter food,around 5pm if not to warm take trimmer for another walk.

a sticky 71 going to 91 today, so much moisture in air, everywhere....
we got a little over six inches total rain here, actually creating problems in veggie garden, mold growing on plants

I have a few errands to run, then I think I'l work in garage and get things organized in there.

Up early. No rain here, we could use some. Had to water garden last night.

68 going to 91. Rain dumped here for a couple of hours yesterday morning. Today weatherman warned of smoky hazy air coming back down from the fires.

Ron, smart to get off the roof when you did,..safety first. I always enjoy those crane pix. So cool they are there.

67 outside this AM. Should be in the lower 90's today with enough humidity to keep sane people indoors.

After yesterday's attack of the walnut, I decided to move some tools around. So I cleaned out another building by the house. It use to be the hand-pump well shed. It will be the home for the foreseeable future for tools. Need to get some sort of air conditioning in there though. And make sure it is squirrel proof. Today will finish the job, moving some cabinets in there and what not.

Just cannot believe after 20 years here I am still moving stuff around and working on buildings. My next place will be turn-key and sit. LOL.
