68°F and .19 inches rain. Passing showers this morning.

Trip to Hilo town for a bit of shopping.
Need to go to PO.

Prep to resume painting tomorrow

Back to town this afternoon for brewery run and dinner at the recently opened Mexican restaurant we’ve missed a couple ttries.

Not enough rain but we got some.

We stopped by and picked up peas at the grower. They were just picked.

Completed another stretch of fencing and stapled it
Put the tools away and picked up mail.
The flowers liked the recent rain and perked up again. We had not watered them and considering how dry it has been they are doing very well.

Rest of the day will walk Cody and support wife with whatever she wants to do

I wasted the day sitting on front porch. Wife did small Costco run after her PT. I did get that in the house.
Snagglepuss left a dead mouse behind the porch glider.
Sister said Dad called and wanted to be in the yearly homecoming parade for our HS, his 80th reunion, I think he is the last one alive from his class. They have parade honoring every 5 years. Parade is tonight. A big homecoming event, probably biggest thing that happens in town. My youngest brothers 40th but he’s not going.
I now wish I had gone to see him.
Might get thunderstorms this evening.

Woke up and mid 50's and it was a nice morning. Grabbed some coffee and drove to work.

I live in the country and drive 40 miles to the big city.

Got to work and seen this little guy in front of our shop.

Figured, it should be a good day. It's cool seeing a fawn.....and then a skunk came out of one of the bushes....there went that theory

You can tell your in the city. Heard one guy ask if he could put it in his car and take home?????

I knew it would happen and it did and some guy started harassing it and it got up and walked off. Our road is busy, don't know what happened to it. I told management I wanted that guy written up for harassing wildlife...per state law. I tried yelling at the guy to back off but didn't have an interpreter with me

64F and it has clouded up again @ 16:30.

Dropped dump cart tire and rim off at local tire shop for new tube. After looking at old tire and some discussion, opted for new tire and tube.

Ran out Menards in Kent and picked up order. Had enough presence of mind to remember swing into the store and pick up a hot knife to cut the weed block fabric which I had forgotten to ad to the order.

Called Kubota dealer, water pump had not arrived so headed home.

Picked up dump cart tire and rim on way back.

Unloaded car when I got back

Woman grilled me up a couple of dogs for lunch. She was cleaning and making spaghetti sauce for dinner this evening.

Wasn't too long after that Kubota dealer called, said water pump was in.

So headed back out and picked that up, along with the gasket.

Couple of spits of rain on the way out there, but looking at the radar it looks like it's mostly moved out to the east.

Grabbed Woman a Butter Pecan on the way back home.

Probably head up to shop here in a little bit and start tearing into the Kubota, get that pump off and make sure it's the right one.

Hopefully have it up and running later.

People abused L.L. bean, too.

Well, I wasn't one who did but I'm sure there were plenty who did. Does Bean still accept any returns at any time, like they once did?

I haven't purchased anything from Bean's in years. The last thing I bought from them was a shirt I got in Freeport at the flagship store. I still wear it often.

That's why I don't shop cabellas any more. Since they got rid of their return policy, I'm not paying for overpriced stuff when I can go elsewhere with a company that backs their products

I try to shop very carefully so I just rarely need to return anything. Most of the time, even when they accept returns, it's just too much trouble.

70F light rain mist in the air.

Was good afternoon...all the garden areas weeded finish picking up fallen branches,help move living furniture tv location short date night little over halfway thru meal fire alarm goes off...I did mange grab couple biscuits small piece of chicken.

Plans for the evening...watch some YT share bowl ice cream.
