Good morning!!!!

Hi Everyone,

busy, crazy week and a bit ...

- visit with daughter was good, she enjoyed the 4 wheeling in the Jeep, took the bus home to Vancouver (6 hrs) on Sat May 27
- cousin drove up from Abbotsford (5 hrs) for a few days Sun May 28 - Tues May 30, for my birthday, and to visit, take me to a Botox appt (I need a driver for the return trip home, very painful)
- Sun May 28 (my Birthday) estranged wife asked to borrow the keys for the tractor, claiming that she wanted to fill in a trench. For various reasons I said NO, I will give her the tractor keys only when my lawyer instructs me to do so. Not happy with that response, the Police attended 35 min later ... they left without asking for the keys, happy with my response (what a waste of time) - I may have referred to that matter earlier, don't recall, crazy week. Definitely spiritual warfare going on, and some of her mental health issues are obvious (to many of our friends)
- Wed May 31 - realized that I was starting to feel some mild anxiety (about everything that I am dealing with), called a few people, Devotions, prayer, sleep, things are starting to move along
- Thurs June 1 - our non-Anniversary (would have been 27th) - strange day lots of memories
- Fri June 2 - friend helped me fill in the trench (lawyer's suggestion, though the identified concern wasn't really the "issue". Went to the Car Cruise in, and there were a record 50+ vehicles brought out for our casual little event, only the 3rd week - amazing, meeting lots of new people and cars
- Sat June 3 - Men's Breakfast from the Church, met at one guy's farm (wow) then afterwards, I was invited to join about 15 guys on a 3 hr ATV / Side by Side trip up to the lookout. It was great ... 5 side by sides, 3 atvs. Bit sore afterwards though, stiff
- Sun June 4 - church, potluck (yum), and then I went to the friend's place (he assisted me with the trench) to help him work on his project truck... 1960 GMC flatdeck, 3 ton COE truck - we took off the hood, bumper, entire front clip, made progress on the engine, and I also scraped decades of dirt off of the engine block and frame. The least that I could do after his earlier help, the progress was therapeutic for both of us.
- Today, Mon June 5 - errands in town, our birthdays lunch in town with a friend. Not a bad day. But Florida lost game 2 NHL, so that wasn't great.

that's my story for today. Still praying. Hope to hear from Bank and Lawyer this week. I need some direction, momentum, progress.

Thanks All

Waiting for coffee to finish brewing. 54° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 72° with overcast skies. Sassy's Vet visit went well. JD mower pin is replaced and starter solenoid cleaned. Mowed what grass was still growing. Did get trailer out of barn. But never got to loading Mule on it. On the list for today.
Looks like this little guy just took a bath at pond.

50 going to 85.

Remembering the heroes of D-Day this morning.

I still haven't caught up, but did go back and read the last few days of posts.

Ron, glad to see your full moon pic...We were watching it come up, and my wife asked me what was the name this month. I told her Ron would know. Strawberry is a good name for it.

BEF, hope you're feeling better.

Prayers said, Scaredy.

Been alternating between mountain hikes and working around here. Yesterday had an interesting incident. I had set a snap trap to catch a mouse in the tool shed. Went to check and found that a young blacksnake (still had its camo spots) had completely swallowed the mouse, which had been caught by the leg. So, the snake's mouth was right up to the edge of the trap, but then stuck...couldn't get the leg to come loose, and of course, couldn't bite it off. I grabbed the snake behind the head, loosened the mouse leg, and placed it outside the shed. My wife and I watched the snake move the mouse down the first part of its body fairly quickly. Hard to believe such a small snake ate such a larger mouse.

We are easily entertained each day like this.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).

57.8F going to mid 80s, Forecast is sunny all day, with the chance of an isolated T-storm in the afternoon.

A storm cell rolled through last night, lightning came about 3 miles away, but the rain just missed us. Just enough to scare Senior dog. Harry is oblivious to thunder, doesn’t react at all…

Friend coming to visit for a while as she traveled from her son’s home in Georgia making her way up to NJ, doing either late lunch or early dinner, no idea if she will want to sleep over or has another destination after. No biggie either way - she is one of those people that has no problem just pulling into a campsite or rest area for the night or even a Walmart parking lot if nothing is available.

Before that all happens, Bailey need to go up to the woodlot for a walk - she hasn’t been there for several days and has withdrawal. Might even need to go up in TukTuk to cheer her up!

somewhere I need to fit in the de riguer viewing of “The Longest Day”!

either tomorrow or Thursday (or both, maybe?) plants will go in the ground, along with some seeds. I may even stop in one of the local farm stands and pick up some onion sets and plant them, too.

coffee is calling…

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe productive blessed day!
