Welcome to GM, PAMM.

LS, those are the kind of squats I do.

Cleaned out the ditch on the east side of the driveway culvert, the flow picked up a tiny bit. The west side is open and the water is still over 1/2 way up the culvert. That culvert is over 29 years old (we have been here for 29 years and it has never been changed) and probably rotten.

Spent the morning casually at home, did a few things on the tax files, swept the floor, time with the dog, loaded the truck.
Did the scraps pick-up at Salvation Army ... lots of bread today, the chickens will be happy, mixes up their diet a bit more. While in town I delivered 6 dozen eggs to a law firm (regular customers) and grabbed the business card for their family law lawyer (plan B, if i need it). Then i gassed up the truck, stopped in at a seniors residence to connect with a few people. The manager is a friend, and also a realtor, so I will get her to come and give me a free market evaluation on the house/property (starting point). They also have 6-7 recently hatched ducklings that I have agreed to re-home in a week or two, once the residents have enjoyed them for a bit. Saw the day old chicks at the Farm Store in town, but I can't commit to them at this point. I stopped in to the local agri repair tractor place to check in on my friend who is recovering from open-heart surgery... chatted with him and his sons for a bit while i drooled over the used tractors and equipment that was scattered about. They may be able to help me with parts for the vintage Jacobsen garden tractor ... grille and mower deck particularly. Coffee with a friend, good to catch up and encourage each other. Then home for the evening.

not a bad day, just coping along. Good evening

Good (Saturday) arvo. The overnight Low was 11C and it's presently 19C, overcast and calm... expecting heavy rain this evening through to morning. There was 1.5mm in the gauge at 0730.

A great run over to Ross, both this morning and on the way back! Practically no one in front of me the whole time. Yes, there were Eccles Cakes available and I scored 4 of them to enjoy over the next week (one at a time, nuked for 15sec). Oh, and the meeting I attended was very productive. ;)

Home by 1430.

That's about it, take care all.

Good morning, the low is 51 and the high to 73°F. Wind E 9 mph. Sunny!

I think today will be a recharge the Z-turn battery day. If I can get the Z-turn running tomorrow, then I will kick the Dodge out of its' shelter and put the Z-turn in. The only reason I keep the Dodge in a shelter, is because I am too lazy to clean the snow off the roof and I avoid an insecure load ticket this way.

Not much else I plan on doing today.

Have a safe day all

good Saturday morning all
much cooler today, high of 73 with much needed rain coming in

Mostly, good luck in tomorrow's race. No flats, chain stays on, etc...

might do some food shopping this morning, need to check freezer
thinking this may be an energy conservation day

Bill, snow on the roof is an insecure load? That's curious but I guess true

The middle keeps coming down, the side posts are leaning to the right.

sounds like my back some days... ;)

clam strips at HoJo's. Oh yes. And french fries
Skeeball, that goes way back. Wasn't that the one where it sloped up at the back?
fun memories

my most favorite memory was the little remote control bulldozer you could drive and push sand around
in what was basically a big fish tank. I think it took nickels back then, soon to be quarters I'm sure
Yes - the circular ramp:

IIRC that was also the last HoJos officially in operation.

. Need to clear off a bench so it can be removed to make space for the dust collector…
Moving some dust collectors for another dust collector 😂🤣😂

what's interesting about Skeeball is how long it has lasted. You can get full size machines for 1200 bucks from Tractor Supply, cheap ones on Amazon, and really nice ones
for about 4500. I remember the lines of them in front, like a pint sized bowling alley
such a simple game, for simple times
