good morning all. Have a lot to do today outside before bad weather keeps me inside. Including seeing the hand surgeon this morning to schedule a carpal tunnel operation for January. Boy will I be glad to get that done. (still waiting for a really cute Christmas elf to come help me...

)
I finally got the go ahead to stop waiting for the contractor to fix his excavator, a big JD one that broke apparently, and today I'm also going to level the grade in front of the storage garage, and maybe, finally, yippee, I can get the Kubota back inside. After I finish the grading, off goes the regular bucket and on goes my grapple bucket and the winter
wood retrieval shall commence. Actually I have so many logs left over from last year I HAVE to cut them cut up before I haul any more trees in. With this bum hand/arm, going to need some help with this, but I have lots of friends who love doing this work, though some aren't too careful, out of inexperience, so who I hand my Echo 600 to needs to know what they are doing. It doesn't take much inattention to get hurt with saws... and no, if you are wearing sneakers, like I asked you not to, you can't cut wood. I show them the deep cut in my steel toed shoes that saved my tootsies, and it never seems to make an impression...no pun intended. So those folks are going to stack wood.
