Good morning!!!!

I'm afraid I haven't been keeping up with the posts on Tractorbynet lately. Txdon, I guess I was a little surprised to see you are trying to learn Spanish. Way back in the dark ages when I was 15 years old in school in Marlow, OK, we had a quite elderly white haired lady who taught both English AND Spanish and I think she was quite good at it. Anyway I tried to get some of my buddies to take Spanish with me and they all refused. So it was just me and 6 girls in the class. I still remember my text book was "El Camino Real". It was a quite enjoyable class. However, that summer we moved from Marlow, OK to Marrietta, OK and the school in Marrietta did not teach Spanish. You had to take 2 years for 2 credits so I got the first year, no credit, and never got the second year; something I've always regretted.

I mentioned above that I have not been keeping up with the posts on TBN. I guess, as a city boy now, I haven't kept up with farm stuff . . . AND . . . my Alzheimer's continues to gradually get worse.

I'm sure I've mentioned before that my Dad, who smoked most of his life, died of Alzheimer's at the age of 80, just as his Dad, who never smoked, died of Alzheimer's at the age of 80 also. I really don't think it has anything to do with it all, but I quit smoking about 19 years ago, and I'll be 83 years old tomorrow. No other male member of my family ever made it to 81.

Now I'm not planning to die anytime soon, but I think I've had more fun than most, and a good wife the last 57 years, so hope you can all say the same some day.
Happy Birthday Bird!
She can, I can't, she is years ahead of me. She has been taking numerous neighborhood Spanish classes and is about 60 units ahead in the app. We are starting to substitute words/phrases as we talk. It's hard to pick up the verbal words but if there is closed caption I do a lot better.

Went to till the garden and the gas tiller would not continue running. Time to go battery power with an EGO tiller attachment.

Hang in there LS.

Bird, Happy Birthday!!!

Still running Lee County Tiller rehab center here..... :)

So my doc says I have arthritis. My knees and feet ache and take some time to get going in the morning after my commute. He gave me a disabled parking placard. I forgot to hang it on my mirror, and rec'd a parking ticket for $140. Hope they'll have some leniency when I show them the placard and the rec't from the county.

Good morning to all! Low was 23°, heading up to 48° today. Sunny and light breezes.

Being nice out, the opportunity exists to tackle trimming the trees. I just have to find my motivation.... seems I have misplaced it again....

RNG, I forgot about THAT neighbor, and also about the drone incident. Good luck!

Drew, I bet it is fantastic sitting on the porch watching the boats go by..... temps sound wonderful!

RS, thanks for sharing the shop link. I have wanted to build cabinets/drawers like that for years....never happened. Probably never will.... Always too many other things to do, and as long as the tools are where they should be.... well that's good enough for now....

Looked many times at the little giant' ladders. Since I have 24' and 20' regular extension ladders, 2-6' and 2-4' step ladders, plus two sets of work platforms/scaffolding, I have always talked myself out of getting one. I figured if I couldn't do whatever needed to be done with what I had, then I wasn't going to be doing it.

Time to finish my coffee and look in some hiding places to find my motivation.

Everyone have a great day!

63°F and 1.72 inches of very welcome rain

The Resilience Fair yesterday was quite interesting and nice couple of hours. Came home with a bunch of goodies and information.

Got a decent start on laundry remodel, old sink removed. New SS sink is slightly smaller allowing for a couple of options.

Headed to town this morning for big annual plant event. My hope is pick up some hydroponics info.

Likely energy conservation after that

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Keens fit me better than most others. Good hikers, yard work and just comfortable casual shoes. I have a low cut pair nearly worn out after over 10 years. A mid top pair and just bought a low cut steel toe pair for working.

Looks like the software is still kicking the TBN crew's butts. It's times like that, that I hate computers.

Chris
Yep, TBN is not nearly as much fun when the pictures don’t load. Huge blank space is very disappointing to see.

It’s interesting that I can see the pictures if I go to the TBN website using safari on my iPhone, but when i look on Tapatalk, I see just an icon with a .jpg suffix, but I can’t view the picture even by clicking on the icon.
