Extra care when reaching in your pocket etc. m7040.
No other injuries. Landed good except for scrapes on fingers. using a glove when going outside to protect.
Was warm outside but ground still cold so a little ice in a wet area on the pavement remained . Have to be more careful

Some snatch blocks and a whole lot of rope are often helpful.
I've had too many trees that were caught from falling by their neighboring trees. MOST of my trees are small deciduous, like maple or gum, < 24" DBH. What I generally do if I can get near to it with the tractor is tie a rope or chain around it below where I can easily get to it with a chain saw. Hook that to the tractor so I can pull perpendicular with plenty of distance for safety, often using snatch blocks.
CAREFULLY "notch" the tree as high up as I can easily swing my 60CC or 90CC saw.
Go back to the tractor and pull until it breaks.
I had one a few years ago that I had to use a come along on because I couldn't get the tractor within rope/chain distance.

Thomas, thanks..... for some reason, I thought you were working on heavy equipment.... now I know!

No pellets today.... I got dressed, then broke out in a sweat. Then just not feeling up to going out. Got back into my comfy clothes and relaxed all day.
Tomorrow may be a different story.....

Most of the light snow we got, melted off (except in the shade) when the sun came out this afternoon. Short lived... supposed to get some more again in the wee hours. As I suspected a few days ago, the forecast is all over the place, changing every few hours....

Watching a travel show on the châteaus of France. Beautiful country side.... never been there, probably never will.....

Have a peaceful evening.
