Good Morning!!!! 43F @ 6:30AM.
Sunny. High 52F. Winds light and variable.
Beautiful sunny day yesterday, a bit cool though. By California standards, anyway.
Found a Toyota dealer in Carson City, NV with an AWD Prius and the 50 state emissions option. Maybe they're all like that? The more I think about it, though, the more it makes sense to wait for the '23 models. Nobody's gonna want a '22 once the '23s are available, and there's no reason to get bent over a barrel on a '22 now when I'll get bent over the same barrel for a '23. Also learned I can register a new car purchased out of state as long as it meets California emissions. Now I just have to make sure I don't have to pay Nevada sales tax. I'll have to pay California "Use" tax, same as sales tax, and I don't wanna have to pay twice. Or maybe I can get my local dealer to do a trade or transfer of a Nevada car?
Still no joy on the security gateway, but I have something new to try suggested by someone on the UI support forum.
I did get a ride in on the roller yesterday, and this time it started right up. Ran up and down the driveway, overlapping at least 50%. But there aren't a lot of fines in this roadbase, so it's not really packing as hard as I'd have hoped. Still better than mud, though, and the rains haven't managed to wash any of it off the hill.
The only good thing about this recent inflation is that CD yields are starting to look interesting for the first time in a long while. It sure would be nice to have a crystal ball...
