Good morning to all! Low of 61°, high only supposed to be 82°. Mostly cloudy, chance of showers, better chances of T-storms this evening. Hope so.....
So glad I struggled in the heat yesterday to finish the weed execution.... but glad it's done.
Today's agenda will be to build a border around the last few trees behind the shed. This includes an apple tree that has the biggest crop of apples that has happened since I planted it 20 years ago. I wonder if being on the drip irrigation and getting shielded from the wind by the new hobbyshack has anything to do with it......
Before the border gets done, I need to move some stuff that was stored there... a 350 gal water tank, my back blade, forks, and the cement mixer. Of course, I piled the 4x4's that will be used for the border in front of all the other stuff. i have to be strategic in where I move the stuff to.... I don't want to have to move it again unless I'm going to use it.... probably just over near the other stockpile of materials.
RNG, glad you got to see the launch. Pretty spectacular plume.
Drew, Jersey blueberries.... best in the world. Along with the Jersey Silver Queen corn.... Is that still the popular hybrid?
I miss all the farm stands... nothing out here like that... tough to grow just about anything without a tremendous amount of care / work.
Everyone have a great day!
