42° right now...high in the upper 60's today

No joy at the doctor's yesterday (see post 150310). She wouldn't release me from the driving prohibition but did say she'd consult with my primary care physician...we'll see. I told her I had to drive (6 miles) to make the appointment....she seemed irritated at that.

Got home and did a couple chores, including lifting the 3PH snowblower so I could get some blocks under it (you might recall my senior moment when parking the snow blower) and a couple other chores.

Back to work today...still remote though

I think some parts of our country are going to experience rolling blackouts this summer due to power grid problems

Yesterday was almost complete of a day,after talking with 3 different hospital departments finally got confirm date CID implant 6/7/22,I'm no doctor!!! but it seems many not all todays doctors are pushy, doctors I want you to do this that and if you question them or say no doctors feel strongly offended,or maybe Iam set in my ways little stubborn.

Plans for today...???????????.

Thomas, hope you're feeling better. There was an earthquake over in Wolfeboro, but not too strong.

Roy, medicine, like science in general, is something man thinks he's mastered, but has a lot to learn. Hope it wasn't a stroke, but it leaves you wondering.

Mostly, that's a big carp. The wildlife folks have added Asian carp into some of our lakes to eat invasive weeds...they don't eat other fish, so are welcome (so far).

I've accidentally dumped my chainsaw from the bucket, too...remembered just as it began to fall. Since I leave my 3 pt tiller on most of the time as a counterweight, I rigged up a big wire basket from an old chest freezer on the flat top of the tiller as a tool rack, and carry my chainsaw, etc, there now. Used it yesterday to cut down a couple of storm damaged broken trees into firewood...on the last cut, a 3" branch, the branch twisted, pinched the chain right off the saw...could not get the chain to slide around the bar, so need to look at it today...the rain started to fall just as I pulled back into the barn, and I called it a day. At least I got a good hike in earlier in the day to see the full bloom of the mountain laurel.

Good morning! 69˚F cloudy, no rain last night, still very dry. I should have not turned off the irrigation systems. FireWise brush clearing with the group while it's cool this morning.

While my bucket is off probably 99% of time I mow, I have never taken off the whole FEL, but it looks extremely easy with this BX

If it’s the typical Kubota, you will be amazed how fast and easy it is. Just do it on a hard surface. It will take longer to unplug the hoses than anything else, especially if you have 4 single couplers.

I take the whole loader frame off. It doesn’t take any longer than taking the bucket off, thanks largely to the single lever hydraulic connector that connects all the hoses at once, including the third function. Kubota really got it right in that department.

Not all have that disconnect. My L30 series was a lot easier to take the loader off than the L40 series. But I don’t mow with it now so my loader stays on. I take it off to service the engine.
