Tonight’s 12th state is Iowa. On trip back from Alaska drove it from west to east in 6 hours. Couldn’t find a photo, so captured a poor picture from a video.
IA_SiouxCity_1988.jpeg

This is Sergeant Floyd River Museum on the Missouri River in Sioux City. We drove south on I29, then East on I80 thru Des Moines, to Davenport, where we caught I74 south.

good morning all
nice day today, sunny and going up to 50, should be very nice.

Bill, getting paid in relish sounds good.

Doug, how old is that fan? Plastic shouldn't fall apart like that...long term heat exposure?
Do you have giant bugs there? ;)

Check, isn't it nice when it all works the first time and without delays?
We have sure had a lot of delays in the last few years.

I'm off to heart specialist this morning to get scrip to get this implantable monitor out of my chest.
It means no more work for this doc, hope he doesn't hem and haw... Monitor never ever showed any problem at all.
Next week I get my port out, then this gizmo out and I will be accessory free.

they told me I could leave the heart monitor in. Really? with a lithium battery in it? I don't think so.
Hope you all have a satisfying and fun day.

Not quite the same, but Sophie has a bone growth stimulator still implanted into upper arm since 1999. No plans to remove unless there is an issue. It does get mentioned when a blood pressure cuff gets attempted on that arm.

Good morning, low temp 31 and going to 27°F. Wind SSW 9 mph. Heavy snow. Snowing as I type.
I WILL be plowing this morning and maybe this afternoon, depending on the accumulation.

The newest customer is an East Indian fellow that lives in Brampton (he is an accountant), he bought the house for his daughter who has 3 kids. No sign of them yet. The guy that set it all up is doing some painting for him.

Keep the pictures of the world coming guys. Through your pictures is the only way I will see the world.

Population density of Canada except for the cities is 1.636/sq. square mile.

I didn't get the fuel sending unit done, nor the horn, but spring is coming and it will get done then.
Before I did the exhaust I could get 12 hours of plowing out of the tank full, now I get 14 hours so at the end of the day I fill it up and all is good. I keep my tank full or at least over half full during winter, now with no gauge I will keep it full.

Have a safe day all

29° now, high in the low 40's snow showers turning to rain

2nd day of training was more interesting than the 1st day...we finish up this afternoon

Wifey's been getting around better...been up enough to wash the dishes, although I could have done it...but she insisted, which is great!

good morning all
32 going up to 50, another nice sunny day.

got the snow pusher built yesterday, seems sturdy but was not made properly, one of the three main bolts would not line up so I had to
take a round file and enlarge a hole to get the bolt in. It was plastic so easy but I expect this from Harbor Freight stuff.
C'mon guys, Made in US, you can measure better than that....

sounds like good news Roy.

landscapers called yesterday and asked if they could come out today and do the dirt work around the flagstone walkway at church.
So that's where I'll be all morning. Then dinner tonight at a friend's, will take my laptop and do a show and tell of Florida trip.

was worried about snow on Sunday morning but forecast is now reduced, will be wet and snowy but not a lot of accumulation. We are often right at the
freezing line and never know what will come down.

David, they said implantable heart monitor could stay in forever. I'm sure it's been tested. I never wanted it in, but got my arm bent, so after a year and a half of
zero bad readings, time to go.
