snow is out of here and sun is trying to poke out but not succeeding.
Roy, problem with noise is not engine but rather the crashing sound that happens when snowblower sucks up driveway gravel
and it makes loud banging sounds getting ejected. I need to put down a top layer of finer gravel and that should help. Blower adjusted all the way up on skids.

buckeyefarmer (and some more) asked if I had names for the guys in the picture I posted of the birthday party they had for my 70th birthday. Well, you may have noticed that I've posted the fact that I have Alzheimers. Right now, I can think of a couple of the names, but not all, and I consider ALL of them to be very good friends, so I sure would not want to leave a name out or make a mistake. So these were all guys who started getting together for some different projects in this general area, and we got acquainted and met because of the fact that we were all members of this website (TBN). I WILL tell you those get togethers were started by Wroughtn_harv, sitting on my left in that picture, a great friend to all of us.

The small farm we live on now used to be my Wife's grandparents' farm. Her grandmother was fond of telling us that they used to raise rabbits here, and back in the '70s, had a standing order with the IGA store in town for 20 rabbits a month. It's been a long time since I've seen rabbit in a grocery store. We can find them in various meat markets, but not in any grocery stores anymore.

I've always liked rabbit. Not sure I'd pay $22 for one though, especially when I can just harvest one from the pasture for about 5¢.
