Morning all, 7 going up to 31
Made a fire last night and somehow the heat was getting sucked out of the house. Oil burner overwhelmed.
Guess its time to check window seals and insulation-$$$

Sons concert went well-while he played guitar and sang for most songs, it was his first time playing bass on stage for one song. He did really well.

Homedepot run went fine yesterday, seem to have more stuff on the shelf. Went to a home store and they still had shelves full of Christmas stuff, must have come in late.

Today hopefully live concert and trip to trader joes.
This week will be doing photo scanning of trips that we only have paper photos.

Paul glad you caught the gas cap loose before it became a real issue.

Drew will be sending us Florida pictures showing us what non-northeast winter looks like. We will be jealous.

Other than filling the bird feeder, work is done...birds have really been chowing down!

19°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 34° today. Some of the sloppy slushy stuff refroze overnight, but with sunny skies all day, that will probably all finish melting today.

The only thing on the agenda for today is swapping the doorknobs in the sunroom for the new replacement. Going to wait until it warms out there a bit, though. Other than that, I'm getting ready to change some guitar strings and aggravate the boy, who didn't come in until just after 5am this morning. Consequences.

Surprisingly, Mostly_, we haven't had the cold air shot following the storm. It's been pretty typical January temps so far. We are looking at lows in the single digits at the end of this week, but only for a couple of days, Thursday and Friday.

Saying I know ASCII, Ken, is about like saying I speak German. Sometimes, it falls out of my mouth like it's my native tongue, and other days I have to look up how to get the ± sign I use almost daily at work. I do use the superscript "0" [ALT+0176] for degrees on the temperatures here every day, so that one I always remember.

Sons concert tonight cancelled due to weather. Supposed to change from snow to freezing rain right when we would be heading home.
Son is taking it ok so far, but disappointed.

Right after leaving the house for worship my hood popped up. The safety catch caught it. Pulled over, pushed hood down, pulled up on hood and it popped back up. Latch not latching. Closed it hard and it seemed to work.

Driving home after service it popped up again. Slammed it down good and held. Might need a little grease.

Facebook didn’t cooperate well for streaming. Wouldn’t bring up the go live box. Rebooted computer and it worked, but made us start a little late. Then no sound at first, I forgot to change audio input after playing a recording last week.

Picked up lunch at Mexican restaurant.

No snow yet. Weather app still says 3”, NWS now says 4-7”. Salt trucks are out waiting.

With the cold temps out now, rain is going to freeze on the roads, could make driving awful
