Oh! We call those adjustable wrenches, or Crescent wrenches, after the company that made them very popular, or maybe even invented them (sorry, I'm too lazy to look up the true origin on that one).

But do you have to make sure to use the right hand and left hand ones in the correct applications?

good morning all.
warmer wetter weather coming in, today dry and up to 48, Christmas Day rain all day, high of 54. Now that's warm for Christmas.

had a nice visit with friends, he appreciated me finding a few interesting gluten free snacks for him. He looked darned good, considering he's fought
Parkinsons for 11 years.

not much planned today. Neighbors across the street coming over this afternoon, otherwise a quiet day.

Some folks in New England ***** about winter and snow...you have to ask..."why live here?"
I love watching snow...don't care to drive in it anymore. Good planning minimizes that...
For me, snow is what really replenishes the aquifer. If you have a well, you know how important that is

I might be surprised, but I think this will be a very mild winter...mostly nuisance snow with no real accumulation. The sole good part of that is there won't be much need for roof raking

Just started brewing coffee. 24° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 47° with cloudy skies and rain late in afternoon. Never got Christmas packages wrapped. Got company. Needed to clean up house a little. Back on the list today. Better get it done. Going to DS place for Christmas Eve.

Mostly, I do not think Sandhill Cranes hunt Moles. But they both are looking for the same grubs.

Alien, here in the USA we have adjustable wrenches with both Metric and SAE. Your choice on which end to use.

I don't know where the snow went, but we didn't get any of it.

I didn't do the dump run and like Roy, it will wait until Tuesday/Wednesday or when I get aroundtuit.

Gotta get into town today and get the stuff that got forgot yesterday. That'll be a short trip.

Did something we’ve never done Christmas in SC hopefully all will enjoy. Kinda chilly this morning 35 degrees but in 70s tomorrow. Walks on the beach does not get any better in December

Very little traffic last night smooth sailing but gas is expensive $3.75 a gallon

39 going to 59. Plan to let the stove rest for a couple of days since high 60s following two days.

I've got one of those metric crescent wrenches but it never seems to fit anything I try to use it on.

Youngest son and GF just arrived from Long Island about an hour ago...he loves to drive at night to beat the traffic...said it was pretty light traffic, but a lot of rude or drunk drivers out, based on the number of folks driving without their headlights on, and other issues. They went to bed, I made coffee.

Buppies, glad your cheek is free of stitches and healing up.

Roasted coffee yesterday and did some hiking. Ron, I need to do some wrapping, too.
