Did you just drive backwards?
No, my fused neck wouldn't stay turned around that long.
So I drove along for a hundred feet with one wheel in the grass, then stopped and looked both ways. That time of day not much traffic out there. I was more worried about a combine coming the other way.

Don, it's only a couple of days, take the pain meds and don't suffer. Might want to nibble on some prunes...or some of those good dates of yours.

With pain meds on board I had a successful first physical therapy session at home, but I still feel like I cheated. I wonder if the athletes who sneak enhancement drugs feel like I did? But in my defense she told me to do it, how many times has that excuse been given? My base line flexation is 67 degrees, she expects 90 in two weeks and final goal of 120. Yikes!
I’m on the flex machine the 3rd session, today, each session is one hour long and 4 are required each day.View attachment 725248
Good news!

Went hiking in the mountains today and picked up some new boots. They're a little big, but I think I'll grow into them...

nice chat with owner of moving company, yes his men coming, and yes despite what they emailed me they know it's a pickup only.
So now maybe headed outside in a bit to wash the car.

Hmmm. 15,000 posts. Started when I was sitting in a chair using a laptop with my wife in the hospital, almost ten years ago. Kept me connected when
my world had become so stressful with wife in and out of hospital. But after she fell asleep I would fire up the laptop and with my trusty Verizon hockey puck I'd
be on the Internet and reading about Kubotas. And studying implement websites.
And in that hospital, when the news was not good, she looked up at me and said
Honey, I think you should get that tractor now.
And I did, and that Kubota was a light years difference from the Case IH 245 I had first.
Some of you remember that before it was delivered I had a paint shop paint a small red heart on the rear side window
with her name in the middle. I have a picture of her pointing up at that heart with a smile. That's a memory worth keeping.

I remember her, pretty lady with a great disposition.

Doctor says only a few microscopic cells are in the margin. Since it’s squamous cell, not basal, he wants to give it a few months then take a larger margin. He’s very confident that will get the last of it. I’m very relieved.

Buppies, I hope you feel better and get all good news.

Don, nice work, keep it up.

Rich, happy birthday.

Made it to sons place in TN tonight. Sunshine all the way till about crossville, where we had to detour because of a massive backup ahead. Once we got back on the interstate, started to rain. Then it rained very hard. Heavy traffic in both lanes and pouring, going about 30mph. At the next stoppage due to an accident, got off and took backroads. Been that way before, so just had to crawl a little way to make it to the exit.
Tiring drive. Picked up a pizza.

Good news toppop. Hope you get good news Buppies.

Long time ago I bought a pair of those LL Bean boots and wore them pheasant hunting. By the end of the morning both feet were covered in blisters from that high seam, and they were on their way back for a refund that same week.

I sure like thier flannel lined blue jeans, though...

47F and cloudy @ 22:00 after a high of 58.6F.

Was somewhat windy today, sounds like they are increasing now.

Not too bad as far leaves getting blown back on the lawn but there are some.

Feeders seemed mostly deserted today for whatever reason, hopper feeder which I filled late yesterday looked untouched by the time I was ready to come in around 17:00.

Retrieved three 6' t-posts from the barn and got those pounded into the ground (without falling off the ladder ... ;) ) Got the clips for the wires and was about to start putting those on and the rain which had only been a mist up to that point started coming down a little harder so I went ahead and came on inside. Should be able to get it wired up tomorrow since they aren't calling for rain until after dark.

Also got the radial arm saw re-tarped while I was out there before it got wet.

Got the mounting board for the roost box stained and the screen for the back wall trimmed to fit, also trimmed the door. Used the remaining cans of old paint, which are destined for the trash.

Heard back on the missing hosta: apparently their supplier/grower had issues with the two types I had ordered that they failed to ship. Said they sent an email, will have to check junk mail and see if I missed it. Offered me a full refund back to the original form of payment or a store credit + an additional 20% which I can use in the future. I think I'll probably take the latter ... ;)

Finished trimming up the plant in the herb planter, watered it, and moved it back into the dining room in front of the window.

Handled another email.

Fed all cats, dry and wet food.

Cleaned up the Tuna Helper and leftover spaghetti for dinner.

Timer just went off, need to go wipe off the excess stain of the mounting board for the roost box.

May go do some more clean up out in the garage after that.

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)
