Good morning!!!!

My very liberal sister, in California no less, poked fun at me for flying the flag in December. She thinks flying the US flag
is only a conservative or Republican ideal. Boy is she wrong. And I had to gently set her straight:
No jokes about the flag please.

Your Father risked his life for that flag.

Sadly politicians tarnish it, but the flag stands for what is best in us.

It’s not Trumpism or Republican to fly the flag. It’s patriotic. And your Mother was born

On the Fourth of July.

And the best part to me is the Christmas lights now give the flag some light at night.
One only has to watch a flag being folded carefully and handed to the widow of a service person to realize how much symbolism is there.

My job is to love my sister, not to agree with her politics. She's smart, she'll figure it out.
Time to get moving.

look at that snow. Coming to many of us soon. Maybe flurries tomorrow here.

23F cloudy brisk wind low 30's for high.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Around 8pm late night to till about 4 am snowplows driver were making extra dollars trying to keep roads clear of 6+ inches ice and snow...if we don't lose power I will be surprise limbs/branches hanging low.

Plans for today...snow clean up walks shed roof seat time on Kubota after that hmmm.

Enjoy your day all.

PJ...sorry for the loss special thoughts prayers.

Roy...We did get snow, but only about ¼" accumulation.
Yep, you got a heck of a lot more than we did...ended up with about ½"
Not enough for the snow blowers, but I'll hit the walks with a shovel and the drive with the front blade.

Good morning! 47˚F only heading to 50, light rain.
PJ sorry for the loss of your father-in-law.

Drew you can always trade in your snow blower for an electric one like Roy's and not have starting problems.

Gray2 is getting better. He is walking around more and eating more. He went from 9 pounds to 6.6 pounds, hopefully we can get his weight back up. The appetite stimulant drug the vet prescribed is Mirataz. That and his antibody treatment yesterday for the kidney infection may just give him another life of his allotted 9.

Good morning, low is -2nd the high will be 16°F. Wind NW 6 mph. A mix if sun and cloud.

Sorry for your loss, PJ.

It is too cold to work outside, so I will probably conserve energy today. Dump run tomorrow IF it warms up a little.

Have a safe day all

Don, if it doesn't start this morning, yes it's going back to dealer, tell them to sell it and I'll buy an EGO or something similar.

not looking good for California. Support your local police for sure. And get them all out on patrol.

Good morning! 24 now, supposed to get to 36 today. It is sunny and calm now.

Condolences on the loss of your FIL PJ.

Got into a lot of different little things yesterday. Was satisfying just getting some things accomplished, even if not memorable!

We typically have a 2nd “Thanksgiving” at home after being with family for Thanksgiving. Getting ready to start the smoker to do a turkey today for us.

One year ago today was just a tough day. Fever, cough, no appetite, little sleep, lack of energyOtherwise…..I really don’t remember much this Saturday a year ago.

Everyone take care and safe out there

Don't know about trading, but having had a gas powered snow blower (used), I'd never have another one. Like Drew, the SOB made me use foul language almost every time I used it.
Granted, the gas blower could plow through a heavier snow (>6" with no problem) than the EGO blower I bought 3-4 years ago. But the newer EGO blowers have a better auger and can be self-propelled....and, about the same price as a self-propelled gas blower.

I do hope Gray2 continues improving...not a cat guy, but I love most all critters...including the 4 squirrels running around the front yard right now
