Drinking first cup of coffee. 63° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 71° with rain in afternoon. Everything is damp around here. Another .22" of rain yesterday. Before it started to drizzle I got all 51 windows on the house washed. PT this morning. Then some grocery shopping. No other plans.

Drew, nice truck.

Riptides, hope they get septic system in soon.

David, spicy eggplant. No on my list of safe to eat foods.

Buppies, I can wait for your weather forecast. Everything here is like spring. Grass is growing like it is spring.

Buckeye, I got my Flu shot 1 weeks after C shot. Maybe I should have waited a little longer.

Kyle, my neighbor is looking for a Gator. Do you deliver?

Will the Honda tiller be in the Sale? I already have a Honda/Mantis. I need a 3point tiller....
What time is the sale? What are some of the typical items sold? I don't believe I need any Jerry Lee Lewis albums....(just making a joke there).

Kyle I'm going to try a different fuel in the Honda before I sell it, I was using the canned ethanol free gasoline from Home Depot. I did not rent a space this year I will be a buyer not a seller. Individual garage sales are not allowed in the neighborhood, only this semi-yearly mega sale so there is a lot of "good stuff".
The set-up starts today but will not open till 8A. M. Saturday Morning and last for only 4 hours. The last hour most people start reducing the price on the items left because they will either have to take it back home or donate it to one of the semi trucks from the local charities that are parked nearby waiting for the end of the sale. The area is roped off so there is no early shopping until the ropes are dropped at exactly 8AM. All spaces are sold so it will be a big one, the first since Covid hit. I have seen lawn equipment, pictures, furniture, every household item, motorcycles, boats, lots of tools. Here is a link. Sun City Texas Community Association 2021 Fall Garage Sale

good morning all
warmer day, 57 going up to 78 today in heavy clouds
off in a few minutes to hospital to get blood work, then some breakfast, food shopping and a
meeting with board member at 11am. So no rest for me until this afternoon, and then I go pick up my new
to me truck. That should be fun.

This truck isn't even close to fitting in my small garage so it's going to have to live outside, so not having a pristine paint job
is probably a good thing. That means my garage can now be transformed into a larger wood shop.
Always trying to find a silver lining...

64 going to 78...saw a few stars among the clouds when I went outside a few minutes ago.

Don, quite the garage sale. I'm always impressed with how well things are done in your community.

Seems my wife has a little soreness from the flu shot and felt a bit tired, but was better by end of the day.

Finished my nail-magnet walk about yesterday...final count 1,161. Anybody need any slightly used roofing nails? By the time I finished, the grass had dried, and I felt confident enough to take the zero turn around the yard and mow for an hour. More mowing needed today. Watched a few minutes of Houston beating Chicago.

59 outside this AM, still a little foggy. Heading to upper 70's today.

wngsprd, I find the occasional siding nail here on the property even after all these years. But no where near the figures you have. I guess you win. LOL. Seems very odd, must have had a tarp not laid out correctly?

Got to get the house in order today. Have guests stopping by. Mowed the back lawn yesterday, but the back field needs it now. Guess I will do that too.

Now shopping for either a steel or if I can get a price, wood, garage. Nothing fancy needed. The steel buildings, looks like I can get one in the 20-30k range. I don't know if I can get a wood building for that price. Definitely not building it myself. Not enough time or energy to commit to that sized project. Got that Milk House to finish up. Wife already coming home with décor for it. LOL.

Finally figured out that my last minute pepper addition from freezer was most likely 10 habaneros from a friend and not sweet baby bell peppers.

I piled a bunch of jalapeños on my lunch 2 days ago. My lips started burning as I ate them. Yesterday they burned again. . These seemed hotter than usual.
