73F and partly cloudy @ 21:30, heading down to 63F for the overnight low.
Got strainer and drain plugs reinstalled in the Kubota and filled with hydraulic fluid.
Started engine after that and rechecked the engine oil and topped it off.
Pulled the zerk on that pin on the loader and cleaned it again, because I thought I might have cross-threaded it (looked crooked, it wasn't) and because it didn't seem to be taking grease. Turned out the grease gun was empty ... so I ordered some of that green Lucas grease RNG recommended off Amazon. Should be here tomorrow.
Neighbor lady came by for a visit and to drop off some bananas for banana nut bread.
Around that time the UPS Lady showed back up with another package, looking somewhat confused - apparently her scanner alerted her that she hadn't delivered everything for this address. Asked me if I was expecting it, and I told her yeah ... but I didn't think it was supposed to be here until Friday (different plants)
Opened the box as she was heading up the road, turns out Amazon apparently duplicated the shipment somehow - it was the same things as the first box they delivered earlier this morning (boxes had identical tracking and reference numbers on them) ... so it looks like we got a BOGO ... I guess ? ...
After that I mowed most of the east side until I figured I better get back on finishing up the service on the Kubota.
Got radiator and engine blown out with compressed air.
Also got that one hydraulic hose that I had replaced, and both the hard lines replaced.
I did try and call Akron Tractor to see if they had that gasket for the air cleaner housing and couldn't get through ... so I tried to look it up on Messicks. They didn't have it in stock (5 - 10 days) ... but I was thoroughly impressed with their price: over $38 ... for a fairly thin foam o-ring.
Going to head back out here in a couple and put the bucket on and then take the loader off so I can get to the fuel filter and change that out and drain the front axle.
Hope everyone had a great day ...
