Planning on taking a drive down Skyline drive in about 3 weeks. Hope to go down part of blue ridge parkway also. Maybe take in the Dday memorial.

Good morning! 44 when I left the house. Supposed to get to 72 today. Rode the bike, first time in a while I have had my cool weather over pants on. Still had issues with my wrist, speedo sat on 80 most of the way in once I got on the main road. Just don’t know why my wrist does that!

Hope Roy’s wife heals soon.

Still waiting on my bike to arrive from FL. Got a different hauler. This one understands how to communicate. He has to pick a car up in Pittsburgh Sunday or Monday to take back to FL, so kind of know when the bike will be here.

Short evenings are cutting down on doing stuff outside after I get home. Be a busy weekend.

The supply chain issues are very real and very ugly. We are missing a lot of shipments this month at work due to lack of truck chassis for one product line, lack of axles for the other. And no end in sight. Service parts are a mess too. A lot of suppliers are simply discontinuing parts due to the supply chain issues. You see it in stores with bare shelves, see it auto dealers with empty lots, etc. everyone is gonna have to tighten their belts a bit

"They" said negative on the covid, plenty of antibodies. They just wiped it down, added a little oil, put a screw in the access panel and sent me on my way. Now I'll wait for tomorrow morning to see if there are any oil drips on my freshly mopped garage floor. I was hoping like they said that it was just spilled oil from the hard to get to oil filter but the oil level just below the fill mark was not acceptable with the oil on the floor.

Moderna booster is still not available here, not even the third shot That everyone else is getting.

38 years married to the love of my life. I am blessed.

Plan to putter around the caretaker unit a bit this morning. H&F this afternoon. Costco stuffed salmon on the menu.

Our big news is Madame Pele putting on a show at Volcano National Park. Hearing the rain I remember last week talking to my SIL about our weather and she commented as to all our rain should just extinguish the volcano. Had to laugh but remembered she moved to Ca when 18 and has had her share of wacky weed.

I’ll be making a pineapple upside down cake with a white pineapple Sophie grew.

Roy, glad surgery was a success.

When we built this house, I included bars in each bathroom as well as the higher commodes. Glad I did.
