77 and humidity you can cut with a knife. Rain moving in later, gusty winds.
Got the corn across the road picked on Tuesday, mowed and disced the stalks yesterday, that field is only about 80 acres between two creeks, nice and high so it drains well and never needs irrigation, best of both. Just up the road they irrigate all summer.
I got my grass mowed yesterday, cleaning ladies, washing machine repair man is supposed to come replace the inlet valve and someone is coming to estimate new flooring in the kitchen, dining room, hall, both foyers and the bathrooms. Sounds like an expensive day around here.
You can’t get anything done seems like, I still have not gotten my replacement retractable awning put up over the bigger deck. I’ve had the new one since early July, lying in my garage in a big tube since. First scheduled for early August but repeatedly put off. Since the brackets are there it just requires removing four bolts, slide it out, and unplug it, then reverse. Two young strong men could literally do in 20 minutes, only took an hour to install the original and they had to measure, level and install brackets. One place said they could fit me in about October 1, and it would only cost $700!

Summer is over so I guess I can take my time.
Mostly, Kyle, we have the runway and it’s being extended more now, but when you’re used to seeing those 80 passenger Embraer jets, that thing looked like it carry a pair of them under its wings. LOL
