Not the same as you musos, but this is from about 20 years ago when I had a little Karaoke business. Changed a lot since then. I got sick of drunks swinging mics around etc so gave it away and just used it at home when we had gatherings. It was fun while it lasted and I made good money as a secondary job. I did weddings, parties, pubs, clubs etc Phone cameras were not the best back then.

At the beginning of the summer I upgraded to a Milwaukee M18 string trimmer. Kind of heavy and it sucks down batteries. I want to see if I can find a string I like better.
I ordered this stuff this spring, but it arrived too late to try out. Got real good reviews, though...

Picture's a little fuzzy, Doug, but looks like a Phonic PowerPod 740 powered mixer.

Funny story about those. When I worked for St. Louis Music, one of our brands was Crate. We made a bunch of different PA equipment under that brand, including several box mixers (I still have a couple somewhere in storage). Towards the end of times there, we started having a few different Chinese companies making some of the smaller stuff, including the powered (box) mixers. One company that made a bunch of stuff for us was Phonic. I once walked into a (long defunct US chain) Mars Music store in St Louis County and saw a display on a shelf with three "different" box mixers; one said Crate, one said Phonic, and one said Yamaha. They were all exactly the same mixer, differing only by the color of the powder coat on the chassis and the graphics on the front. They were all three made by Phonic, and sold under different names.

Not a bad mixer, as I recall.

Yes you are correct. It was a very good mixer. That one went to my daughter. I have replaced it all now with a new Karaoke player (Sonken MP4000) and Yamaha Amp just for home use. It's an old Nokia phone photo and the only one I have left after my computer crashed way back.

Well , long day tearing things apart and re racking and restacking at the church building.
Not everything is done, but I had to get it functioning for morning service.

Couple QSC amps on bottom, then an old radio shack amp to drive a speaker in the nursery.
Mackie mixer, and a small cheap mixer for another room.
Couple wireless mic receivers on top.
Network equipment just thrown in for now, one has rack arms I need to mount.
Put all (but one) cables in the wall from above the drop ceiling and they come out behind the rack. A mess of cables still behind there, but they don’t drop down outside the wall like they did. Speaker wire for nursery was short, so I left it hanging, I needed plenty of slack to pull the rack out, but then it makes a jungle of wires with rack pushed in.

Still need a lot of cable management.

Might separate speaker wires from network wires in the drop behind the wall also, a lot of wires in one access hole right now. Also a mess above the ceiling with extra wire, some rolled, some not. I really need to go back and straighten that up also.

Might get another shelf to put DVR in rack also.

I tested everything so better work in the morning.

Home in time for supper at 7:00.

I still need to put Ethernet cable from streaming camera in the wall, it will be hard to do.

71F and cloudy @ 21:15, heading down to 65F for the overnight low. Just came in from putting everything away and emptying the spreader.

Felt a few sprinkles and radar shows the leading edge of rain is now here. Calling for around 1/2 an inch - which is good because we need it.

Got East side mowing all finished up first thing.

Then spread 10 bags of lime (400 lbs), 6 on the lower front, 4 around the house. Was about one bag short of completing the lower front. Since I started at the top maybe it will wash down ... ;).

Also spread about a bag and a half of fertilizer down around the house. Used one setting lighter than what they call for ("4", instead of "5") It's been slightly more than two months since the last application, so it is due.

After I got that done, I headed over to neighbor lady's and worked on her project some more. Scored some nice tomatoes from her and The Woman made BLT's this evening for dinner.

Will finalize small order for Menards for some things I missed last time around + covers for the shop gutters and then probably hit the rack.

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)

Good evening all. 73F for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Wind peaked 10 AM, the eased off, afternoon buildups, and high temp was 97F, HI 104, DP 69F. Bike ride in the morning, 72 miles, one flat, one of the other 2 guys, missed him stopping and had to go back. His spare tube had issues, so more riding in the heat.
