Coffee is brewing. 51° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 76° with sunny skies. Yesterday was another great day visiting with my sister. Went threw 2 crates of pictures from my mother. Started scanning the selected pictures. Grocery shopping today. No other plans.

Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs PJ. 🎊

David, tile looks good. I am happy with my Mule. Make sure Sophie will like the added height getting on the Mule. Make sure it has power steering. Some models do not. My SX without power steering steers without problems. I follow a group on facebook. Kawasaki Mule enthusiast. For me roof and windshield are a must. Rear window is needed in my area. Dust flies up. Trailer hitch is nice. I have a 2" square one off Ebay. I have added bed liner and extender. Rear lights and dome light. I have the cargo compartment under seat. Mirrors. Charging ports for phone. Front floor mat. Have fun shopping.

Buckeye, drive safe if you go out on flooded roads.

Everyone stay healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.

wow, what a night....
9.75 inches of rain
township under lockdown, no driving, roads along the Delaware River flooded, reports of water over tops of
cars in some places, across the River in Lambertville they say parts of the town are submerged.
Fire company out all night, emergency buzzing of phone four or five times last night, but oh thank you the power stayed on
and my sump pump, which turned on perhaps once a minute all night long kept working. It was dark but water must have been up the sides of the homes here.
Good news is this is one of the highest points in the area, bad news relatively flat near my house and water sure pools.
And for the icing on the cake loud ringing alarm like a commercial bank alarm woke me up, and I knew what it was. Septic system has overflow alarm on it and twice that went off last
night. Might need to pump the tank this week.

cool 61 going up to low 70's today

David, nice job on the tile. You are remarkably handy to be able to do all this yourself.

very pleased there is no damage here at all. Despite reports of local tornados, not much junk in lawn this morning.
And like most days after a bad storm, it's bright blue and sunny today, lovely day but for sure a clean up day for a huge number of folks.

glad I went over to Heath's gas station yesterday afternoon and filled up, wouldn't be able to get there this morning.
I stopped at island and owner came out, smiling and saying I bet you are getting gas for your gen. Yup.
For me it's gas when the propane runs out. Just amazed power didn't go out last night.

Happy Anniversary PJ. Sorry you don't enjoy the banjo, it's a fine instrument, difficult to play. I know many truly great players, including Bela Fleck. He was formally the BIL of a good friend. Met Sierra Hull (mandolin), and Michael Cleveland ( fiddle) at a festival in Guthrie, OK. also.
Love that music!
i've seen michael cleveland

he's something

Man it rained here! The rain gauge stops at 5 inches and we reached that mid afternoon and it was still raining. This house can handle up to 4 inches so we got water in the basement. The shop side is ok because I keep stuff off the floor. I've got a fan running. The finished side is carpeted so I will be dancing with the shop vac today. I think I know where I put the sprayer and I will hit it with some bleach. I've got 4 fans and the dehumidifier going. What we need to do is tear out the carpet and lay tile. We are on top of a hill and these rain events haven't happened very often. Still I need to check the water management systems around the house. Things to do things to do.

Chris

Good morning. No floods here, just a chilling wet mist that numbed my fingers and soon had my insides longing for a bowl of porridge. Mostly, I think porridge could have quietened your Peugeot axle too - not sure for how long though :giggle:

After not using the Iseki for a few days I noticed it was developing a slight list to one side. The repaired inner tube on the front tire that went for vulcanising had a slow leak, gauge showed it was loosing about 2 psi per day. Decided to get a new inner tube in and keep the old tube for spare so I don't get stuck in the field next time I have a blowout. That bit of forward planning has probably jinxed the rear tires instead come the next puncture

Good afternoon
Chrissy Hind! Love the Pretenders, saw her once in concert. You going to Springfield?

RNG, heavy duty and looks good. I could see your club including old Urals....but it's not my club... :)

Taking the Gator HPX carb to work tomorrow. We have an 1 gallon ultrasonic cleaner I'm going to try. Anybody recommend a solution that's not flammable?

Billy, sounds like a pretty exciting day.

No news on work friend other than he's off the ventilator.....Other friend from Victoria has O2 level of 89.

Looking forward to long weekend. I have off Friday thru Monday. I'm sure I'll be doing some sort of labor on Labor day weekend.
