82F and sunny @ 12:00, HI 95F, DP 70F ... heading up to a high of 89F. Around a 20% chance of a stray thunderstorm popping up. Attic vent fan just came on.
One more warm day (high 87F) after today and then temps go back to a little closer to normal for this time of year (high 70's/low 80's) for the rest of the Ten Day.
Noticed while mowing the upper front yesterday that the groundhogs have reopened two holes to their tunnels in the dirt pile ... apparently they are not getting the message that they need to vacate.
Target rich environment as always, as far as agenda goes. Likely will try to avoid being in the sun as much as possible.
Pallet forks on are the Kubota currently with nothing on back for a counter-weight.
Probably move the 65 gallon tank which is almost empty and the sprayer which is empty around back for refills. Then put the box blade back on.
There was a 25' top section of a dead ash tree that had come down a while back and had snagged up in a maple over in the west side planting bed. I pushed/pulled it down a couple days ago and got it on the ground. Need to remove that and take it up to the burn pile.
Also have some saplings that need pulled out in the circles, once I put the bucket back on.
Have some mortar work to do to fill in around the AC units on the outside walls up at shop. Should be able to do the west side first off and then hit the east side a little later when it's in shade (assuming I have enough mortar)
Probably do some more work on grading and compacting over at the creek crossing.
Making a point of trying to observe where the sun is at various times during the day. Amazing how much the trees have grown over the last 40 years and how much shade they provide.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...
