I had platform boots but with only a low heel - at 6' tall I didn't really want a boost in height when the shorter girls always seemed the most attractive Also had a "budgie jacket" ...

In the 70s I had a green plaid CPO jacket, bell bottom blue jeans and chukka boots. My shirt was usually a T-shirt with a surfing logo. The place to surf was Surfside Texas with my short dual fin surf board. Only beach houses were near the beach, no condos.

I had a pair of “Indian” boots with the wide leather laces and fringe, they paired well with my white double knit flare legs and bright green tank top.

The saga of the awning, trucking company called and said the truck didn’t go out but I’d get it tomorrow. She said he won’t back in the driveway. Ten minutes later the driver called and was ten minutes away and asked if I was home. I said yes and do you mind backing in the driveway it’s 16’ wide? He said he’d already looked at it on google maps and he’d be glad to. Got here and backed in like the pro he is, all the way to the garage door, then got out and unloaded it by himself and slid into place. And a really nice guy to boot. I was worrying for no reason.

Picked up 18gal gas for mowers last night and filled truck tank. Pump shut off at $100 limit.

My daily attire was jeans and work boots in cold weather, shorts and tee shirts April-October, the hippy wear was for the foosball parlor.
