I have a lot of finishing work to do in prep for cladding the house so I am looking at the (Brushless) Makita Compound sliding saw. It comes with 2 batteries and charger and work table for around $1500. I already have a Makita hedge trimmer, drill and sawzall so it will join the family. I also have some Ryobi tools which I am happy with. I have been a Makita fan since the early '80s.Popgadget and I have been helping Makita sales lately, I just ordered the cordless hedge trimmer.
The forsythia bush at the end of the driveway needs to be kept trimmed or it blocks my vision looking for
traffic. Once again I go into Amazon and it says you bought this in May of 2016. Yup. I wonder who has it now, bet
it's still running fine. Since I have the batteries it only makes sense, since I only have to buy the tool.
