Hot and humid like everybody else, heat index was around 100 most of the day.
Got the club trailer parked, it was still hooked to my truck and I didn’t want to take it through the drive through at the bank.

Supposed to rain tomorrow, I hope so we are in another dry spell. I have a lot of sand on top of clay so if it doesn’t rain about once a week it turns to dust bowl and the grass gets brown.

Big storm on way home from taking son to airport, but only .17” at home.
Son’s flight got delayed, then delayed again due to approaching storm. He’s been there since 4:30 and is about to leave 2 hrs late.

Will this be for your grounds keepers or your house maids?

Good question, Don. Actually bought this container with caretaker in mind, just haven’t bother to fully define. Basic thought has been place to live in exchange for work, thinking mostly landscape and light maintenance as well as a security presence should we be absent. When Sophie’s sister indicated it might be a good place for her to live, my thinking changed to include if the caretaker didn’t live there then it could generate rent to pay for the caretaker. My latest thinking has been I can rent at fair value and allow caretaker to work exchange partial future rent on a weekly/monthly basis.
Probably 8-10 work hours a week. General housekeeper could definitely come into play if that is what Sophie wants/needs. I know several here have the housekeeper thing. Would be new for me but could adjust.
While I’ve usually thought of a caretaker as being a single, older guy, no reason it couldn’t be a gal, even a couple. Would even consider having the caretaker/work exchange and be open to housekeeping being for cash. I try to be flexible.

Got 4 hours in with flail. Boy did I mess up and wait too long. Grass is 2 ft tall in many places, very thick in others - slow going.
Likely done until Wed unless I find another shear bolt. Not making special trip as already scheduled to go Wed morning. Not breaking shear bolt by hitting something, just the flex of the drive shaft. Guessing these must be particularly weak. I just use the 3/8” zinc hex bolts out of the bin at HD.

Ken, was that Jeff Kline’s music store? Sure sounds like it. He’s a great musician as well.
